As per news reports, Education ministry is reviewing the situation to decide whether remaining phase 3 and 4 exams can be conducted in August.
The Ministry of Education is holding series of meetings to review the COVID situation for conducting the remaining phase 3 and 4 JEE Main 2021 exams. In the latest update, several officials from Education Ministry and other agencies conducted a meeting wherein the possibility of organizing the exams in July and August was discussed.
“The situation is being reviewed to decide whether the JEE Main 2021 remaining attempts can be conducted in August”, a senior official told PTI. Every possibility is being taken into consideration to conduct the exams keeping in mind the safety of students.

As per the media reports, JEE Main 2021 April and May exams, which have been postponed due to COVID, is likely to be held in August. The possibility of conducting the exams in the month of July is less as student registration, allotment of exam centres, issuance of admit cards and other exam related activities requires at least a months time.
The JEE Main 2021 exam date is likely to be announced by the end of June or first week of July. First, the phase 3 JEE Main exam (April) will be conducted after which the phase 4 (May) attempt will be held. Both the attempts is likely to be held within the gap of 20-25 days.
It is also expected that NTA will open JEE Main registration for the phase 4 exam in the month of July. Registrations of phase 3 exam had been concluded but fresh registrations may be called considering the COVID situation.
The NTA is conducting JEE Main 2021 in four sessions. The first two sessions had been successfully conducted in February and March whereas the remaining two sessions, which were scheduled in April and May had to be postponed due to COVID outbreak.
