The cut off marks are calculated by giving a 50% weightage to each KCET marks and 12th standard board examination marks. Both are combined to calculate the rank.

Q:   When will the results of the KCET exam be declared?

The exam body Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will declare KCET 2026 results online at the official website. Applicants appeared in the exam will be able to check their results by using their login credentials - user ID and password.

According to the preliminary analysis, the following chapters saw the highest representation in the KCET 2026 Chemistry paper:

As per the KEA guidelines, the paper maintained a distribution of roughly 25% from the First PUC syllabus and 75% from the Second PUC syllabus.

KCET Answer Key and Results

The official KCET 2026 Answer Key is expected to be released by the KEA as soon as the exam is conducted. However, several coaching institutes will release unofficial versions by late evening today. The KCET 2026 results are tentatively scheduled for announcement in late May or early June.
