TNEA 2019 (Round 1): Changes In Mechanical Engineering (ME) Cutoffs
Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2026 ( TNEA )
TNEA 2019 cutoff ranks for round 2 have been declared on July 18. Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) Tamil Nadu is conducting TNEA 2019 counselling for admission to BTech courses offered by participating institutes of TNEA. The admission authority releases round-wise TNEA cutoff along with the seat allotment list. Candidates are allotted seats based on TNEA rank list published by the conducting authority.

- As per the official data, on an average, TNEA Round 1 cutoff in 2019 has gone up by 6777 ranks as compared to 2018.
- University College of Engineering, Tiruchirappalli, University College of Engineering, Villupuram and University VOC College of Engineering, Thoothukudi have comparatively high ranks as compared to last year.
- Three new institutes namely Coimbatore Institute of Technology (Autonomous), P.S.G. College of Technology (Autonomous), are now offering admission to the mechanical engineering programme.
