The Maharashtra CET cell has started the MHCET LLB 3-year registration process 2026. Candidates can fill the MH CET Law Application Form 2026 for 3 year LLB courses until March 3. Earlier, the CET Cell released the MHCET Law exam date 2026. The exam is scheduled to be conducted tentatively on 01-April-2026 and 02-April-2026.
The interested candidates can apply for the entrance exam by visiting cetcell. mahacet.org. Candidates looking forward to appear for the exam must ensure to meet the MH CET 3-year LLB eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. This entrance exam will be conducted to grant admission to the 3-year LLB course at the colleges accepting MHCET Law 2026 scores. The successfully registered candidates will be issued the Maharashtra CET Law admit card 2026 through the online portal. MHCET 3 Year LLB 2026 Application Form
The application form 2026 for 3-year LLB is now available on the official website of MH CET Cell, cetcell.mahacet.org and portal.maharashtracet.org. The MH CET for Law 2026 registration cum application form is mandatory to be filled out to appear in the MH Law CET entrance exam.

- Click on the CET Exam Portal tab.
- Click on 3-yr LLB tab (select the tab for the course for which you want to fill out the application form).
- Now register yourself for the exam
- Fill in your personal details and permanent address details,
- Enter your email ID and mobile number for registration.
- Generate a password and complete the registration process.
- Now, sign up again by entering your application number and password.
- Fill out the form and upload your passport size picture and a scanned copy of your signature.
- Pay the application fee, save and submit the MHCET Law application.

The MH CET Law admit card 2026 for the 3-year LLB entrance exam will be released online. Know how to download the MH CET Law admit card:
- Go to the official website of the Maharashtra CET Cell.
- Click on the "CET Examination Portal" link for a five-year LLB.
- A new webpage will be opened.
- Login using your application number, date of birth and password generated during registration.

In a case where candidates secure the same rank or marks, the following method of tie-breaking is applied:
- Candidates with a higher percentage of marks in Class 12 or equivalent exam are given preference in the merit list
- Candidates securing a higher percentage of marks in the first language in Class 12
- Candidates with a high percentage of marks in Class 10
- A higher percentage of marks in English in Class 10 or equivalent exam

MH CET 3-Year LLB 2026 Counselling Process 2026
The Maharashtra LAWCET counselling is conducted through a Centralised Admission Porcess (CAP). Candidates have to register online and get their document verification done to be eligible for admission to the college. The choice filling process to select the colleges of preference for admission can also be exercised during the MHCET Law 3-year Counselling process 2026. Thereafter, the admission cell releases a seat allocation list and selected candidates will have to report to their allocated college for confirmation of seat.
During the counselling process, candidates have the option to ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ their choices.
- Float option- If candidates are not satisfied with the allotted colleges, they can choose the ‘Float’ option. Candidates exercising this option are eligible for appearing in the subsequent counselling rounds. In case they are not offered seats, they can choose the previously allotted college.
- Freeze option- Candidates can exercise ‘Freeze’ option to confirm their allotment and if they do not want to participate in the further counselling rounds. They will accept the allotted college and pay the admission fee. Such candidates will not be considered for further counselling rounds.
