SNAP 2023 Question Paper was easy in terms of difficulty level. There was no change in the exam pattern from previous year. The SNAP 2023 slot 1 question paper had three sections – English, QA & DI-DS and A-LR. The total number of question were 60. English section had 15 questions, Quantitative Aptitude had 20 questions and Logical Reasoning had 25 questions. Quants section was dominated by Arithmetic and there was no Reading Comprehension in English. SNAP exam 2025 will be held on December 6, 14 and 21, 2025. Those preparing for SNAP 2025 exam, must go through the questions asked in SNAP 2023 exam and practice those for gaining a hold on the topics.

SNAP 2023 question paper – Sectional break up
The SNAP 2023 paper was divided into three sections. Given below is the break up of the question paper.

SNAP question paper has 60 questions in all the sessions, English has 15 questions, QA, DI-DS has 20 questions and A-LR has 25 question. Candidates are not supposed to attempt all the questions. But they must attempt about 2/3rd of the total questions with maximum accuracy to be able to get a good score. SNAP sectional cut offs are important for selection to SIU, so don't ignore one section for another.
SNAP has 60 questions but it is not mandatory to attempt all of them. Candidates should, however, try to attempt about 2/3rd of total questions in each section for a good score, overall.

SNAP 2023 Questions and Answers - Memory Based
Q: To select a group of an unbiased dice is ruled out if the dice shows 1 then group x is chosen. If 2 or 3 then group y and if 4, 5 or 6 then group z is chosen. The official SNAP question paper is not released by the exam authority anymore. It used to be released along with the answer key after the exam until 2019. Since 2020, when the exam format changed from single session to three sessions, the SNAP question paper, response sheet and answer key release was stopped. Now, after the SNAP exam, the authorities directly release the scorecards.
However, unofficial SNAP answer keys are released by coaching institutes and mentors for candidates to analyse their performance. The unofficial answer keys are released on the same day as exam session contain SNAP questions and their solved answers. These-memory based question paper and answer key help candidates in assessing their performance by seeing which of their attempts were correct and which were incorrect.
The Quantitative Aptitude question of SNAP are easy to moderate in nature. Most of the questions are direct and not calculation intensive. The questions are usually asked from Arithmetic Geometry, Mensuration P&C/Probability Algebra and Numbers.
Candidates preparing for SNAP exam must study all the topics included in the SNAP syllabus i.e. General English and Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency and Analytical and Logical Reasoning.

The minimum marks of every SIU institute varies. While for SIBM Pune and SCHMRD the minimum cut off is usually 95-98 percentile, the cut offs for SSBF Pune is nearly 60.

There is no SNAP counselling fee to be paid. The fee is already charged in SNAP application fee per college selection.

SNAP candidates are not required to apply separately for all SIU campuses. They can select colleges in the SNAP application form. However, they need to fill the PI-shortlist form separately for whichever colleges they get shortlisted.

According to the latest SNAP exam pattern the paper will be divided into three sections. Every question will carry 1 mark and there is negative marking of 0.25.
· English has 15 questions
· Quants, DI-DS has 20 questions

Between SNAP and NMAT, the former is considered easier in terms of difficulty level of the questions. However, SNAP is of 60 minutes in which candidates have to address 60 question. This makes SNAP more challenging than NMAT which is a test of longer duration (2 hours having 108 questions).

Usually it is recommended that Arun Sharma series (Verbal, Quant, DI), R.S. Aggarwal's Reasoning/Quant books, and Word Power Made Easy, are enough for SNAP preparation. Sample questions papers, mock tests, sectional test series are also important.

SNAP total marks is 60 so 40 to 45 marks can be considered a good score. It will convert into about 97-98 percentile. So, it the exam, candidates must aim to attempt 40 to 45 questions correctly.

Two months may not be enough to prepare for SNAP exam, if you are attempting it for the first time. However, you can try with a very specific and focussed plan. Check SNAP question papers of previous years to know dominant subjects. Study only those thoroughly and practice mock tests side by side.

SNAP syllabus is not difficult as it contains the same topics as other MBA entrance exams. But the key to SNAP preparation lies in practicing SNAP specific questions.

There is no negative marking for skipping questions in SNAP. If a candidate skips a question, he will marked 0 on that.
