  • Candidates should know the TANCET 2025 exam pattern well. It is important to know the number of sections, marking scheme, duration of the test etc. so that candidates can chalk out exam day strategy.
  • During the last few days of preparation, aspirants should devote time to revision, analysis and practice.
  • They should practice previous years' TANCET question papers. Learn from their mistakes and work on the weak areas you are lagging behind.
  • They should not stress and be calm and believe in themselves and the hard work they have put in for the preparation.
  • Taking breaks between studies is important to refresh minds.
  • Revising formulae and learning shortcuts to solve mathematical problems during the exam would help them manage time.
  • During the exam, they should start with the sections and topics they are confident in, which would avoid wasting time on questions that they don’t know.
  • Candidates should avoid learning new topics from the TANCET syllabus 2025 at the last moment. Rather, they should revise the topics you have learnt so far properly. Taking up new topics will only lead to confusion.

TANCET 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates should adhere to the following guidelines during the exam.

  • Candidates should reach the exam centre in advance to complete the verification process smoothly.
  • Upon reaching the exam centre, candidates should check the seating arrangement and should not seat anywhere else.
  • Candidates should maintain social distancing norms right from the entry to the exit of the test centre.
  • Test takers are not allowed to change your change without due permission from the invigilator.
  • Candidates should take a printout of the TANCET hall ticket 2025 a day before the exam.
  • They should carry a photo identity card such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License, etc.
  • Candidates should keep wearing a mask throughout the duration and carry their hand sanitiser (50 ml) and transparent water bottles.
  • Candidates should carry a blue or black ball pen for answering in the OMR sheets.
  • Test takers should check the exam centre a day before the exam to check the distance to reach on time.
  • Candidates should read the instructions given in the test booklet.
  • They should listen to the instructions given by the invigilator.
  • The invigilator will provide rough sheets. Therefore, they need not carry any notebooks or papers for rough work.
  • Electronic devices such as calculators, mobile phones, watches etc are not allowed inside the exam centre.
  • They should not leave the exam hall before the completion of the test.

TANCET counselling is conducted by GCT Coimbatore. DTE, Tamil Nadu has allocatted the responsibility for TANCET counselling to GCT, Coimbatore. Candidates will have to participate in the centralised counselling process for TANCET based admissions.

No, there is no facility for revaluation in TANCET exam. The results declared by Anna University are final and will be considered for admissions in Tamil Nadu. Anna University will not entertain any requests for revaluation and rechecking of the TANCET answer sheet.
