TG ICET normalisation formula takes into account the average scores and standard deviations of each shift and compares it with the overall values across all sessions.
TS ICET rank based on marks may change year to year depending on several factors. These factors include the number of candidates who took the exam, number of qualified candidates, difficulty standards of the TS ICET exam and more. For instance in the past session, TS ICET 2022 the rank 1 holder secured 170+ marks, whereas, in TS ICET 2021, the top 1 rank holder secured 155+ marks. Candidates securing 150+ marks can expect their rank to be within the top 20. TSCHE releases the TS ICET rankers list for top 20 rank holders along with the results.
- Begin the preparation with Data Sufficiency as it has the highest number of questions. Focus on understanding if the given information is enough to answer the question. This topic needs logical thinking more than solving. One must devote more time to practice different types of questions. Know your basics in arithmetic and logic.
- After Data Sufficiency, candidates must focus on Series, Analogy, Coding and Decoding, Data Analysis, and Date, Time and Arrangement. Each of these topics are expected to have 10 questions. Spend 2 to 3 days on each of these topics. Practice questions from past 10 year papers to get hold on different types of questions.
- Candidates get five questions with the odd-one out structure. These questions in the Analytical Ability section are easy to score. While preparing for this part, candidates will have to identify patterns and differences. Solve these types of questions quickly. Regular practice will help you improve.
- Focus on solving 25 to 30 questions daily. Mix different topics while practicing. This will help candidates to have a balanced preparation. Additionally, candidates must revise old topics every second day.
- Practice solving the full Analytical Ability section in 50 to 55 minutes. While preparing, candidates must plan how much time to spend on each topic. Try to stay within that time during practice.
