XAT 2019 question paper is of moderate difficulty level. Among the four sections of XAT exam, Quant, English and Reasoning sections can be termed as easy and Decision Making as tricky. The XAT question paper 2019 is divided into two parts. Part 1 comprises Verbal & Logical Ability, Decision Making and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation sections. Part 2 comprises General Knowledge section. There are 99 questions in the paper and all of them are in MCQ format. In the Verbal & Logical Ability section, the Reading Comprehension (RC) part comprises four passages and a poem. Topics of RC passages are listed below:

Section-wise XAT 2019 Question Paper Analysis
Let’s have a look at the XAT question paper 2019 and analyse every section in detail. This will provide an overview of type of questions, difficulty level, sectional break-up and topic wise weightage of the question paper.
Verbal and Logical Ability
The Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning section of XAT 2019 is lengthy and time consuming. The Verbal section of XAT 2019 question paper is dominated by Reading Comprehension with four passages of three questions each. It also had one poem with two questions. The questions based on poem can be considered difficult. Among others, fill in the blank questions and some of the critical reasoning questions can be considered difficult too. The only easy questions in this section, are the two parajumble questions. 16-18 good attempts with 70 percent accuracy can fetch good score.

Decision Making and Analytical Reasoning
The Decision Making section of XAT 2019 can be considered moderately difficult. The section has a total number of 21 questions distributed among three caselets. There are no single caselets in XAT 2019 question paper. With 18 questions, situational Decision Making dominates this section. The Analytical Reasoning part has sequencing questions but no Mathematical Reasoning questions.

Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation
The Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation section of XAT 2019 paper can be considered slightly tougher than 2018 question paper with one tricky Data Interpretation set. Out of 27 question, 21 are from Quantitative Ability; most of which are from Geometry and Algebra (including Co-ordinate and Trigonometry). While Geometry questions are difficult, questions from Arithmetic are easy.
XAT 2019 question paper has two Data Interpretation sets comprising six questions in total. This section has a few ambiguous questions.

General Knowledge
The General Knowledge section of XAT exam is usually of moderate difficulty. Not deviating from the tradition, the General Knowledge section of XAT 2019 question paper is also of moderate difficulty. The section has 25 questions mostly from static GK (Economy, Geography, Science and Technology) and Current Affairs (Business economy, personalities, awards, sports and miscellaneous).
