How to Calculate NEET 2021 Scores Utilising Official NEET Answer Keys
After downloading the NEET 2021 official answer key, candidates should follow the steps given below to calculate their estimated scores.

Compare each candidate response to the subsequent answer key

For each correct answer, add four marks

For each incorrect answer, deduct one mark

Candidates can also calculate the mark using the formula

How to Challenge NEET 2021 Answer Keys
Candidates will have to follow the given method to challenge the NEET answer keys 2021 by NTA.

Visit the official website and click on the tab ‘Challenge Answer Keys’

Click on ‘Apply Answer Key Challenge’ and select the ‘Test Booklet Code’
- Login with the application number and date of birth

Select the questions to be challenged

Select the answer that is correct according to the candidate and provide the necessary justification
- Upload supporting documents by clicking on 'Choose File' tab in a single PDF file
- After clicking your desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology for NEET (UG) -2021, ‘Save your Claim’ and move to the next screen

Click on ‘Save Your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’

Pay the requisite fee using debit or credit card, Net Banking or Paytm
-
Download and save the confirmation slip
How to Challenge NEET 2021 OMR Sheet Questions and Graded Responses
To challenge the OMR sheet questions, candidates have to follow the below procedure:
- Visit the NTA NEET website
- Login with Application Number and Date of Birth
- Select 'OMR Challenge' on the left side of the page
- Select questions for challenge
- The number next to the Question under the column ‘Captured Response as per OMR Sheet’ stands for the option opted by the Candidates in the OMR Answer Sheets
- There will be three options under the column ‘Candidate’s Claim’
- For challenging this option, candidates will have to use the Options given in the ‘Candidate’s Claim’ column
- After clicking your desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology for NEET (UG) - 2021, scroll down, ‘Submit’, and move to the next screen
- Click on ‘Submit' and Pay Fee Finally’
- After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt
The fee for challenging each NTA NEET answer key 2021 is INR 1,000 and challenging the OMR Answer Sheet Grading and Recorded Responses is INR 200.

Candidates can compare the unofficial answer keys and solutions with that of the NEET 2021 official answer keys and decide whether to file challenges against any NTA NEET 2021 answer keys or not. In case the NTA’s review committee finds any of the challenges to be valid, then marks will be awarded to all candidates. However, candidates will not be informed whether their challenge has been accepted or rejected.
The final NEET 2021 official answer keys will be released by NTA along with the NEET exam result, which is likely to be declared in the second week of October.

No, Punjabi University, Patiala are not decided based on NEET-UG score. Punjabi University, Patiala has only mentioned accepting scores of its ownin-house entrance exam to select candidates for BPharm courses.
Thus, candidates with a valid NEET-UG score will still need to appear in this entrance exam
