NEET Notification 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the notification and information bulletin for the NEET UG 2026 exam in February 2026. The NEET 2026 notification PDF will be displayed on the exam website. The notification carries information such as exam date, timing, eligibility, application procedure and fee, exam pattern, and list of exam cities to be precise. The NTA conducts the NEET UG exam for admission to undergraduate Medical, Nursing and other allied courses such as MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, Ayurveda, Unani, and Siddha Medicine, BVSC & AH, among others.

Details of the exam will be announced in the NEET 2026 information bulletin. The NEET application form 2026 will be available along with the notification for around a month. NTA releases the NEET notifications for different events separately, such as the release of advance intimation of exam city slip, admit card, answer key, and result.

The NTA will release the NEET 2026 notification along with the application form. The notification will be released offline in the national dailies as well as online at neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the notification for the NEET 2026 exam using the process shared below-

  • Click on the information bulletin link.
  • Go through the NEET notification in detail.
  • Download the PDF.

Q:   When will the NEET 2026 notification be released?

The NTA is likely to release the NEET UG 2026 notification in February 2026. The notification will be released with the information bulletin containing the exam dates and details. Students need to go through the notification before filling out the NEET UG form 2026.  

Q:   What is the NEET registration date?
A: 

The NEET 2026 registration process will start soon. The last date to complete the registration process will be a month after the commencement. Registration is the first step of application wherein candidates have to enter the basic details, validate the OTP and create password. In the NEET application process, candidates have to login with their credentials and then fill up the form, upload documents and pay the application fee of NEET 2026.

NEET 2026 Notification Details

The details shared below will be informed through the NEET UG notification 2026-

NEET 2026 Application Form: The NTA will release the NEET UG application form for 2026 online on neet.nta.nic. The application form process has four stages- Registration, Application Form, Document Upload and Fee Payment.

NEET 2026 Exam Date: The notification mentions the exam date and timings. The NEET is conducted in a single day and slot. The exam duration is 180 minutes or 3 hours. As per the Indian Standard Time, the exam is scheduled from 2.00 to 5.00 PM. 

NEET 2026 Exam Centres: NEET 2026 exam centres are generally located in 566 cities in India and in 14 cities abroad. The number of NEET 2026 exam centres are 5,468. Candidates need to select three exam cities while filling the form. The NTA allots the NEET exam centre based on the choices filled by the candidates and the availability of seats at the respective exam centre.

NEET 2026 Exam Pattern: The NEET exam pattern informs that it is a paper-pencil-based test of 3 hours carrying 180 questions from Chemistry, Physics and Biology. The medium of the NEET question paper is English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

NTA started the NEET 2025 registration on February 7, 2025. The last date of application was March 7, 2025. NEET 2025 was conducted on May 4, 2025. NEET 2025 application process is being conducted online. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form in online mode along with the payment of the application fee.

Q:   When does NTA release the NEET advance intimation to exam city slip?
A: 

NTA releases the NEET advance intimation to exam city slip around 10 days before the exam. The document needs to be downloaded online by logging in to the exam website with the registration details. The advance intimation to exam city slip carries the name of the city where candidates' NEET exam centre will be located. The actual exam centre address will be provided on the NEET admit card.

If your Aadhaar card is not linked to your mobile number and you are facing problems while filling out the NEET application form, then you should link your Aadhaar to your mobile number first.

You can only do it via a Aadhaar enrollment center and it is not possible to link it from online portal of UIDAI. Once your Aadhar is linked to your mobile number, you can complete your NEET application form.
