NEET Cutoff 2025 for MBBS Government Colleges
The NEET UG Counselling 2025 process for admissions to MBBS, BDS and MSc is almost over. Candidates who cleared the NEET exam in 2025 by obtaining the qualifying cutoff percentile and scores could take part in the counselling for MBBS admissions. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the qualifying NEET cut off 2025 along with the results on June 14, 2025. The NEET cutoff percentile and scores were displayed category-wise for General, SC, ST, OBC and others. Candidates who obtained these scores were eligible for the NEET Counselling.

However, the NEET MBBS admission cut off 2025 is different from these qualifying scores. The MCC and state counselling authorities published the NEET Cut Off 2025 for MBBS Government Colleges. The MCC NEET cut off is the closing rank of the candidate against each category who got admission to the MBBS course of the particular college. The qualifying NEET 2025 cutoff marks for General category candidates is 144. Last year it was 162. As expected, the NEET 2025 cutoff for General category candidates is lower than last year. The reason is, the difficulty level of NEET was tougher this year as compared to last year. The competition level has become even higher, along with the increase in the number of seats.

NEET Cut Off 2025: Qualifying Percentile & Scores
The NEET 2025 cutoff scores are the qualifying marks required by candidates to participate in the MBBS/ BDS/ BSc counselling process through all-India quota (AIQ) and State Quota. The NEET qualifying marks 2025 were 686-144 for General category, 143-113 for OBC, SC and ST category and for PwD (General/ EWS) category was 143-127. The cutoff for NEET is released along with the result or the scorecard. The NEET cutoff or qualifying marks vary for each category, which are General, SC, ST, OBC and PwD/PH. RIMS Ranchi cutoff 2022 was 49596 for General category candidates in All India quota for BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery. RIMS Ranchi admission 2023 to MBBS course is based on NEET 2023 scores followed by NEET Counselling 2023. Conducted by the MCC, NEET UG Counselling is to be held in multiple rounds.
