How to Apply for BSEB Matric Supplementary Exams 2025?
Students who are interested in applying for the BSEB Matric Class 10th Special or Supplementary Exams 2025 can complete the registration process by visiting the official Bihar Board websites:

BSEB Supplementary and Special Exams Eligibility Criteria
Compartment Exam Eligibility
Students who have failed in one or two subjects, including English, are eligible to apply for the Compartment Exam. This allows students to reattempt these subjects and improve their scores.
BSEB 10th Special Exam 2025 Eligibility
Those who missed the main exams due to school negligence—such as issues caused by the school principal or other reasons—will have the opportunity to apply for the Special Exam.
Students can apply for a maximum of three subjects in the Compartment Exam, including compulsory subjects like English, Science, Social Science, and Mathematics, as well as optional subjects.
BSEB Matric Exam 2025 Fee Structure
The BSEB Matric fee structure varies for general and reserved category students (SC, ST, EBC/BC-I).
- Exam Application Fee: INR 70 for all students
- Matric Exam Fee: INR 115
- Miscellaneous Fees: INR 430
- Mark Sheet Fee: INR 170
The total fee for general category students is INR 950, while the total fee for reserved category students is INR 835.
Additional Fees for Practical Subjects
Students who are taking practical subjects such as Home Science, Dance, Music, or Fine Arts will need to pay an additional INR 30. Moreover, there is an online processing fee of INR 30.
For these students, the total fee including practical examination fees will be:
- INR 1,010 for general category students
- INR 895 for reserved category students
BSEB Matric Result 2025: Previous Year’s Performance
In the 2024 BSEB Matric exams, the overall performance was remarkable:
- First Division: 4,70,845 students (including 2,53,754 boys and 2,17,091 girls)
- Second Division: 4,84,012 students (including 2,29,958 boys and 2,54,054 girls)
- Third Division: 3,07,792 students (including 1,38,144 boys and 1,69,648 girls)
A total of 123 students were ranked in the Top 10, with 25 students securing positions in ranks 1-5, and 98 students ranked between ranks 6-10.
