Tightened Security Measures to Prevent Malpractice
In an effort to curb any form of examination malpractice, the Karnataka Education Minister, Shivaramanna Bangarappa, confirmed that a restricted zone will be implemented within a 200-meter radius around all exam centers. This measure is designed to ensure that no photocopying, cyber, or computer centers operate within these boundaries on exam days, effectively limiting any potential opportunities for cheating.
Strict Legal Action Against Malpractice and Leaks
Minister Bangarappa also emphasized that any involvement in question paper leaks or other exam-related irregularities would be met with strict legal action under the Education Act. The government is committed to maintaining the integrity of the examination process, and additional police personnel will be stationed at all centers to guarantee security throughout the exams.
Immediate Evaluation and Focused Result Analysis
To further improve the examination experience and outcomes for students, the answer sheets will be evaluated immediately after each examination, enabling quick feedback. This timely evaluation is aimed at identifying areas where students may need additional focus or improvement, thereby assisting them in addressing potential gaps in their knowledge before the next exams.
Multiple Opportunities for Students to Excel
The Karnataka board currently conducts three annual examinations, offering students multiple opportunities to improve their performance. This flexible approach helps ensure that students can refine their learning and achieve better results through perseverance and targeted preparation.
