PSEB Board Exams 2026: 12th & 10th Date Sheet (OUT), Pattern (Revised), Syllabus, Sample Papers

Punjab Board released the PSEB date sheet 2026 Class 10, 12 on December 30, 2025 on the Board's website. Punjab Board will conduct the PSEB 10th, 12th exams 2026 between February 17 and April 4, 2026. Students can check the detailed date sheet by clicking on the links below.

The Board releases the PSEB date sheet 2026 Class 10, 12 on the official website- pseb.ac.in. 

The Punjab Board is expected to release the PSEB Class 10 admit card 2026 in February 2026 on Board's website for schools. School officials will download PSEB 10th admit card for all students and take its printout. Students appearing in the exam will need to collect their admit cards from their school. The PSEB admit card 2026 is an important doc and needs to be carried on all exam days. No student will be allowed to write exam without it.

PSEB revised the Punjab Board Exam Pattern 2026 Class 10, 12. According to the new paper pattern, three major changes have been made in PSEB 10th, 12th paper pattern. These are listed below:

Reduction in Objective Questions (MCQs) - The share of objective-type questions has been reduced from 40 per cent to 25 per cent.

Questions From Within the Chapter - Earlier, 100 per cent of questions were taken only from the exercises at the end of the textbook chapters. Now, at least 25 per cent of questions will come from within the chapter content itself, while the remaining 75 per cent will be from the exercises. This will require students to study the entire chapter in depth.

Increase in Difficulty Level - There has been a change in the distribution of difficulty level. Earlier, the PSEB exams were 40 per cent easy, 40 per cent average and 20 per cent difficult. After the introduction of changes, it will be 30 per cent easy, 40 per cent average and 30 per cent difficult.

The responsibility of the Board includes setting syllabus, exam pattern, deciding on the exam dates, conducting examinations, publishing results, and then granting certificates to the students who clear the examinations. As many as 5667 governments, 454 government-aided and 3,125 unaided schools are affiliated with The Punjab School Education Board.
