Marking done by PSEB is fair and lenient. After the evaluators are done with the checking, the answer sheet goes for another round of random checking by the supervisor, to ensure it's fairness.

Compete with yourself

For that what you can do is, solve the previous year’s question paper to put yourself through the test and try to get better than the last time. Making Short Notes of Every Subjects  

Making notes play an important part while preparing for the board exams, especially during revision because you don’t want to read each line while revising, you will just need to get the important points. Focus on NCERT Books

While preparing for exams everybody tends to hop into different books to get a better understanding of the topics but all it does is make you even more confused. You can use the supplementary reader to revise the topics that your learned but reading one topic in different books is not a good decision. Focus on one book and that is the NCERT textbook while you are reading something

Solving Previous Year Question Papers

The best way to revise what you read is by solving the previous year’s question papers. Along with the revision, students can get familiar with the question pattern of the question paper. It is best to look into the question papers from the last 10 years to get a better idea of the questions. You will also overcome the fear of new questions. Remember “Practice makes a man perfect, ” so all you need to do is practice hard.

Students need to secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks  in all subjects and aggregate to pass Punjab Board 10th exams 2026. In case they're unable to score the passing marks, they will need to reappear for the compartment examinations or appear for the same exams the next year.

• However, do not forget to carry your PSEB admit card on all exam days
• Students without the admit crad will not be allowed to write their PSEB board exams

Top tips to score high in PSEB board exams 2025

Whiteners are not allowed in PSEB board exams. However, you can use gel or ball pens. 

Students can carry stationary to the exam centre but will not be allowed any electronic gadget like smart watch, cell phones, calculators etc. In case anyone is found with these items, he/she can be barred from writing the exam.

No, it is not mandatory to pass the pre-board exams to get the PSEB 10th admit card. The pre-board exams are meant for students to be familiar with the board exam format. Clearing them is not a criteria for obtaining the PSEB 10th hall ticket.
