RBSE Class 12 Business Studies Exam 2025 Rescheduled for April 7 after Paper Leak Reports

RBSE 12th Board Exam 2025: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced the rescheduled date for the RBSE Class 12 Business Studies examination, after the exam held on March 23 was cancelled. The new date for the RBSE exam 2025 is now set for April 9, 2025. The cancellation came after complaints surfaced that the question paper was identical to last year’s paper.

RBSE 12th Exam Cancellation 2025 Due to Paper Duplication

The RBSE Business Studies exam 2025, which was initially scheduled for March 23, 2025, was cancelled after around 30,000 students from the Commerce stream sat for the test. RBSE officials confirmed that the board acted swiftly after the complaints were lodged. According to the board, the decision to cancel the exam was made after a thorough review of the issue.

Investigation Underway: Action against Erring Teacher

RBSE Secretary Kailash Chand Sharma confirmed that an internal investigation has been launched to identify the teacher responsible for the error. "We prepare multiple sets of question papers, and unfortunately, a teacher failed to put in the required effort and mistakenly sent last year's question paper," said Sharma. He also stated that the department would take disciplinary action against the teacher who caused the blunder.

"We will ensure that such an error does not happen again, and disciplinary measures will be taken soon," Sharma added.

Rescheduled RBSE Exam Date and Upcoming Board Exams

The Business Studies exam has now been rescheduled for April 9, 2025, alongside the Sanskrit literature and language exam. Other important upcoming exams in the RBSE Class 12th schedule include:

• April 2: English Literature or Tankan Lipi (Hindi)
• April 3: Sociology
• April 4: Indian Knowledge Systems, including various Vedic and Darshan texts
• April 5: Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature, Sindhi Literature, Gujarati Literature, Punjabi Literature, Rajasthani Literature, Persian, Prakrit Language, Tankan Lipi (English)

The RBSE board is set to continue its exams following the original timeline, with a few rescheduled papers due to the recent incident.

The Rajasthan Board has been conducting its exams in a well-organized manner, with the first shift running from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM, and the second shift taking place from 12:45 PM to 4:00 PM. This year, students from across the state are preparing for a range of subjects, including languages, social sciences, and specialized subjects in commerce and science.

The recent change in the Business Studies exam schedule, while an unfortunate event, has not caused major disruptions to the overall timeline of RBSE exams.

In light of the exam rescheduling, RBSE has urged students to stay updated via official announcements and to keep track of any changes to their exam schedules. The board also recommended that students use this additional time to prepare thoroughly for their exams.

RBSE Exam 2025 Last Year’s Performance Highlights

RBSE’s Class 12th exams of 2024 saw impressive results across all streams. The commerce stream recorded a remarkable pass percentage of 98.95%, with female students outperforming male students at 99.51% and 98.66%, respectively. The arts stream also achieved a high pass percentage of 96.88%, with female students achieving a pass rate of 97.86% and male students at 95.80%. In science, the overall pass percentage was 97.75%, with female students again outperforming their male counterparts.

RBSE registered a total of 2,60,078 students for the science exam, of whom 2,58,071 appeared, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 97.73%. Among the female students, the pass percentage stood at 98.90%, while 97.08% of male students passed.
