WB HS Syllabus Change! The West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has introduced minor changes in the syllabus for various subjects in Classes 11 and 12. The updates aim to reflect suggestions from different stakeholders and will be effective starting from the next academic year. Subjects Affected by WBCHSE Syllabus Changes

According to the official notification, the syllabus revisions cover a wide range of subjects including both major and elective courses. The subjects that have been updated are:

These modifications will be included in the 4th edition of the syllabus book, and changes will also be incorporated into the updated Model Question Papers.

Changes Won’t Affect Current Class 11 Students

It is important to note that the revisions to the Class 11 syllabus will not affect students who are currently preparing for the Class XI Semester 2 exams. The syllabus updates will be applicable only to students in the upcoming academic sessions.

Extended Deadline for HS Exam 2025 Online Enrolment

In a related development, WBCHSE has also extended the online enrolment deadline for the Class 12th (HS) Examination 2025. The new deadline for completing the online enrolment process is December 21, 2024. Students who have yet to complete their enrolment should ensure they do so before the deadline to avoid any inconvenience.

Ongoing WB HS Practical Exams 2025

The WBCHSE HS practical exams are currently underway and will conclude on December 20, 2024. Candidates who had previously passed the practical exam in the past year are exempted from reappearing for the practical examination this year.
