IIT Kanpur’s C3iHub Announces Global Cybersecurity Hackathon 2025

C3iHub, the Cybersecurity Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Kanpur, has announced the winners of the HACK IITK Global Cybersecurity Hackathon 2025. Close AI Tech, founded by Naman Arora at IIM Lucknow's Noida Campus, secured the first prize in the Startup Track, winning INR 3 lakhs and $5,000 in AWS Cloud credits. Quantumweave Intelligence claimed the second prize with INR 2 lakhs and $5,000 in AWS Cloud credits, while Reddact Labs took third place, earning INR 1 lakh and $5,000 in AWS Cloud credits.

The Special Jury Innovation Award went to Okynus Tech, which also received INR 1 lakh and $5,000 in AWS Cloud credits. Several of these winning startups will be incubated at C3iHub, IIT Kanpur, to support their growth and scale their cybersecurity solutions. The three-day event brought together some of the brightest minds in cybersecurity, offering a dynamic platform for participants to showcase their skills and develop innovative solutions to tackle the ever-evolving challenges of the digital age.

Global Cybersecurity Hackathon 2025 Solution Track Winners

In the Solution Track, Team Jr. Boka from Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology clinched the first prize, winning INR 5 lakhs. Team bi0s from Shiv Nadar University, Chennai, secured the second prize with INR 2 lakhs, while Team India_x8200 claimed third place, earning INR 1 lakh. The Special Jury Innovation Award in this category was presented to Team HEXXA, who received INR 1 lakh.

Prof. Sandeep Shukla, Project Director of C3iHub, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “The HACK IITK Global Cyber Security Hackathon continues to inspire and showcase the exceptional talent in the cybersecurity field. The level of innovation and problem-solving displayed by all the participants has truly exceeded our expectations. We are proud to provide a platform for these brilliant minds to shape the future of cybersecurity.”

(BEL), State Bank of India, Saptang Labs, SecureDApp, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the Cloud Partner, along with Hack2Skill and Prutor as Platform Partners. These collaborations played a crucial role in delivering a world-class competitive experience, providing participants with essential resources, mentorship, and industry expertise to drive innovation in cybersecurity.
