ASEAN-India Start-up Festival 2024
The Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) at IIT Kanpur, in partnership with the Department of Science & Technology (DST) and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India, is organizing the ASEAN-India Start-up Festival 2024. Scheduled to take place from November 28 to 30, 2024, this event will unite entrepreneurs and innovators from India and the 10 ASEAN nations, fostering cross-border collaborations and driving innovation.

The festival will showcase cutting-edge deep-tech and sustainable innovations, presenting transformative solutions from 60 Indian startups and 40 ASEAN startups. These innovations are designed to tackle regional challenges while promoting socio-economic growth through advanced technologies and sustainability.
The three-day event will include a diverse lineup of activities, such as seminars, startup exhibitions, pitch competitions, and networking sessions, aimed at fostering B2B and G2G collaborations to strengthen innovation-driven economic partnerships. The festival will culminate with industry visits to leading organizations in the Delhi-NCR region, offering participants an immersive experience of India’s dynamic innovation ecosystem.
The event will host several eminent dignitaries, including Jitendra Singh, Minister of Science and Technology, Government of India; Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary of DST; Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director of IIT Kanpur; Srikant Sastri, Chairman of the Geospatial Data Promotion & Development Committee; ambassadors from ASEAN nations; and other senior government officials and industry leaders.
