The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) will celebrate its 65th Foundation Day on November 2, 2024, with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh as the Chief Guest, inspiring students and the audience with his address. Joining him as Guest of Honour will be Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, Chairperson of the IIT Kanpur Board of Governors, who will further enrich the event by sharing his insights with the students and academic community. This landmark occasion promises to be a memorable source of inspiration for all in attendance.
IIT Kanpur To Honour 18 Alumni During Foundation Day
On its 65th Foundation Day, IIT Kanpur will honour 18 distinguished alumni with prestigious awards. These include the Distinguished Alumnus Awards, recognizing alumni who have excelled in their respective fields; the Distinguished Service Awards, celebrating those who have significantly advanced the institute’s mission; and the Young Alumnus Awards, acknowledging remarkable achievements by alumni early in their careers. Additionally, the Institute will confer three Institute Fellow Awards on faculty members who have made exceptional contributions to IIT Kanpur’s growth. These awards exemplify the values and excellence upheld by IIT Kanpur.
