Delhi University PG Admissions Cross 63,000 Registrations; BTech Sees Steady Uptick

All registrations are being processed through the Common Seat Allocation System – Postgraduate (CSAS–PG) 2025 portal. The university had opened applications on April 25, 2025, and will soon announce timelines for merit list publication and counselling rounds.
The University of Delhi has released updated registration data for its postgraduate and BTech programmes, revealing a steady rise in applicant numbers for the 2025–26 academic session.
As of June 10, 2025, the university has recorded:
- 63,387 registrations for postgraduate (PG) programmes, and
- 6,015 registrations for BTech programmes.
In terms of programme-wise applications, PG courses have drawn 69,317 submissions, reflecting a significant number of students applying for more than one programme.

The figures indicate a daily increase of:
- 534 PG applicants,
- 1,801 programme-level registrations, and
- 145 BTech applicants.
Expanding Options and High Interest
The admissions are open for:
- 83 PG programmes, and
- 3 BTech programmes, introduced in recent years to meet the demand for technical education within the university ecosystem.
Delhi University’s BTech programmes, launched in 2023, are drawing increasing attention from students who wish to pursue engineering within a central university setup known for its academic reputation and affordability.

Candidates can apply for DU admission via Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Before applying for the course, aspirants must check out the eligibility requirements. To apply students can visit NTA official website. After the entrance test, the cutoff marks are made available beind the login on the official samarth portal of the university. At the time of CUET registration, aspirants must selection DU as a preference.
