CLAT 2025 Result Controversy: 71% Seek Revision in Shiksha Poll

In a recent survey conducted by Shiksha, an overwhelming 71% of candidates have expressed their desire for the CLAT 2025 (Common Law Admission Test) results to be revised. The results of the poll shed light on the growing dissatisfaction among students regarding the exam's current outcomes. CLAT 2025 was conducted on December 1, 2024. By now, at least three rounds of CLAT Counselling 2025 should have gotten over. However, with the legal proceedings concerning the CLAT 2025 results ongoing, the whole admission process has been delayed.

The Supreme Court has transferred all petitions challenging the results from various High Courts to the Delhi High Court to ensure uniform adjudication. The Delhi High Court is scheduled to hear these consolidated petitions on April 7, 2025. The outcome of this hearing will determine whether the CLAT 2025 results are revised and may influence the timeline for subsequent counselling processes.

According to the poll, candidates have voiced concerns over discrepancies they believe may exist in the assessment process. Many are hoping that a revision will lead to a more accurate reflection of their performance, giving them a better chance at securing their desired NLU.

However, not everyone is in favor of revising the results. A significant 18% of respondents argue that altering the results now would only cause unnecessary delays. Interestingly, 10% of candidates believe that revising the results will not significantly impact their chances and are indifferent to the process. For them, the revision seems like a moot point in the broader scope of the admission process.

The Shiksha survey highlights the contrasting views within the candidate community as the CLAT 2025 results have already stirred up discussions. While candidates await the official response from the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs), many are holding their breath for a decision on whether their concerns will lead to a revision.

Can the verdict [expected on 7th April] be further challenged. In that case will this go on and the admission process be delayed.
