NEET Notification 2027: National Testing Agency will release NEET UG 2027 Notification and Information Bulletin in February 2027. The NEET notification PDF will contain all the details related to the NEET 2027 registration, eligibility, dates, syllabus, exam pattern, and exam process. Candidates must go through the complete details given in the notification and then appear for the exam. In case of any variance from eligibility conditions or other details, candidature will be cancelled.

NTA NEET UG 2027 Notification: Eligibility Criteria
The NEET 2027 notification PDF will inform candidates about latest eligibility criteria in terms of age limit and qualification. Candidates who fulfill the prescribed conditions will be eligible for exam. Have a look at the NEET eligibility criteria 2027 below-
- Candidates who are 17 years of age at the time of admission or will attain the same by December 31, 2027, can apply for NEET exam. There is no upper age limit.
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 Board exam or equivalent with Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects before the cutoff date.
- General category candidates must obtain a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks, and reserved category candidates should secure 45 per cent (PwD-General) and 40 per cent (SC, ST, OBC, Reserved PWD).
- Indian Nationals/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) who wish to pursue MBBS/ BDS from a foreign university also need to qualify the exam.

NEET 2027 Information Bulletin Details

NEET Application Form: NTA will release the NEET application form online on neet.nta.nic. The application form process has four stages: Registration, Application Form, Document Upload and Fee Payment.
NEET Exam Date: The notification will mention the exam date and timings. NEET is conducted in a single day and slot. The exam duration is 180 minutes or 3 hours. As per the Indian Standard Time, the exam is scheduled from 2.00 to 5.00 PM.
NEET Exam Centres: NEET 2027 exam centres are generally located in 566 cities in India and in 14 cities abroad. Candidates need to select three exam cities while filling the form. NTA allots the NEET exam centre based on the choices filled by the candidates and the availability of seats at the respective exam centre.
NEET Exam Pattern: NEET exam pattern notifies that the exam is paper-pencil-based test of 3 hours. It carries 180 questions from Chemistry, Physics and Biology. The medium of NEET question paper is English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The duration of NEET exam is three hours. The exam timing is 2 PM to 5 PM. Test takers needed to report to the exam centre latest by 1 PM. They could not leave the exam hall before 5 PM.

NTA releases the NEET advance intimation to exam city slip around 10 days before the exam. The document needs to be downloaded online by logging in to the exam website with the registration details. The advance intimation to exam city slip carries the name of the city where candidates' NEET exam centre will be located. The actual exam centre address will be provided on the NEET admit card.
NTA will release the NEET 2027 information brochure with the application form on the exam website in February 2027. It will contain the NEET exam details such as dates, eligibility, application form, exam pattern, syllabus, exam centre and counselling process.
If your Aadhaar card is not linked to your mobile number and you are facing problems while filling out the NEET application form, then you should link your Aadhaar to your mobile number first.
You can only do it via a Aadhaar enrollment center and it is not possible to link it from online portal of UIDAI. Once your Aadhar is linked to your mobile number, you can complete your NEET application form. It is very important to ensure that you have filled out all details are accurately to avoid any issues during the application process.

Yes, in most colleges. NCAHP said NEET UG will not be mandatory for BPT and BOT in the 2026-27 session. Many colleges admit through Class 12 PCB marks or their own tests. Top government colleges like KGMU still use NEET. Check each college's notice. Keep your PCB marksheet ready.

As far as my experience it is very tough to get MBBS seat in government colleges, but u can try in NRI qouta or any private quota in private medical colleges of Karnataka, because u have rural and HK qouta it can be beneficial to you

Usually no. Colleges admit students through CUET, JEE Main, university tests or state engineering exams. Amity Bengaluru's B.Tech Biotechnology also accepts NEET or AMCAT scores. So NEET can help in a few cases. Check each college's list of accepted exams.

Admission to the MBBS programme at Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore is strictly not possible without a valid NEET-UG score. Yes, for some of them. Bahra lists scholarships based on JEE Main marks and CLAT rank, along with BUSET, CAT, MAT, and CUET percentile scores. I am not sure about NEET, so confirm that with the admissions office.
