RRB Group D 2021 exam dates have been announced by the Railway Recruitment Boards. The CBT exam will commence from February 23, 2022 in a phase-wise manner. With two months left for the exam, it is now high time that candidates must begin their preparations. One can easily get through the exam and score well with some discipline and hard work. Sincere practice and following some prep strategies will definitely help candidates to sail through the exam. RRB Group D 2021 Section-Wise Preparation Tips for 2 Months

RRB Group D exam pattern for CBT is divided into four sections: General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. The total duration of the test is 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied by the scribe). The test paper comprises a total of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. Here are some section-wise RRB Group D 2021 preparation tips:

Mathematics

This section of RRB Group D exam is designed to check the problem-solving and mathematical ability of the candidates. The standard of questions asked in this section is at par with high school mathematics. There are 25 questions in this section. Candidates need to practice a lot to master this section. They should not depend on shortcuts and cramming the formulas. Candidates need to have in-depth knowledge of the topics to score good marks.

General Intelligence and Reasoning

This section tests the mental ability of the candidates. Total 30 questions are asked in this section. Candidates need to have a strong hold on their reasoning abilities. The key to ace this section is practice through the previous years’ questions. This will also give candidates a hang on the type of questions that can be asked in the exam. Candidates can strengthen their skills by solving puzzles or games that requires logic and reasoning.

General Science

The General Science section of RRB Group D exam is based on Science syllabus of CBSE Classes 10 and 12. Candidates can brush up the Science topics from the high school books. They can also refer to the NCERT textbooks. Candidates can stick to the basics of each and every topic rather than going for high-level preparation for this section.

General Awareness

This section will carry a total of 20 questions and has no fixed syllabus. Candidates must focus on improving GK and Current Affairs. They should make it a habit of reading newspapers daily and keep a track of all the national and international events.

RRB Group D 2021 Overall Preparation Tips for 2 Months

Given below are few general tips and tricks to crack RRB Group D 2021 exam in two months:

  • Candidates must take mock tests regularly and solve previous years to evaluate their preparation.
  • Candidates should identify their weaknesses and strengths. Work on their weaknesses and polish their strengths.
  • Make a proper note of topics while studying. This will help candidates during revision.
  • To learn how to manage time effectively during the exam, candidates should keep track of the time taken for solving the question papers.
  • Read newspapers, magazines and journals to keep in touch with news and current affairs.
  • Focus on revision and practice daily.
  • Don’t panic and stay calm during the exam.

RRB exam calendar 2026 has been released. The notification for RRB NTPC 2026 will be released in August. RRB Group D notification will be released in October. RRB ALP notification will be released in February.
