SBI PO Exam Day Guidelines: The State Bank of India (SBI) released SBI PO mains exam day guidelines 2025. Candidates appearing for the SBI PO 2025 exam should adhere to the exam day guidelines laid down by the examination authority. SBI PO prelims admit card 2025 is available now. Candidates must carry two passport-size photographs to paste in the admit card.
SBI PO exam day guidelines highlight details such as items allowed and prohibited inside the exam centre, dress code, reporting time, exam timings, etc. Candidates need to strictly follow the SBI PO exam day guidelines released by SBI in the exam centre. SBI PO exam dates 2025 were announced. SBI PO prelims exam was conducted on August 4, 2025. SBI PO Mains exam will be conducted on September 13, 2025. The Psychometric Test will be conducted on November 19. The Group Exercises & Interview will be held from November 24 to 30.
Candidates must bring stationery such as pencils, glue, eraser, ink stamp pad and ballpoint pen with them to the examination hall. Electronic items are not allowed.

Important Points Related to SBI PO Admit Card
- Candidates must bring SBI PO admit card along with their photograph affixed on it and a photocopy of photo identity proof stapled with it. Candidates must also bring two additional photographs
- The accepted photo identity proofs are PAN Card/Passport/Permanent Driving Licence/Voter’s Card with photograph/Bank Passbook with photograph/Photo Identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead /Photo Identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead /Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognised College / University / Aadhar / E-aadhar Card with a photograph / Employee ID in original
- Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof
- Candidates reporting without two additional photographs will not be allowed to appear for the examination. Candidates must bring glue for pasting photos on attendance sheets
- The photograph affixed on the admit card should match the one uploaded in the online application form, failing which, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam
- Candidates need to bring the authenticated SBI PO prelims admit card to the exam centre. Along with the prelims admit card, candidates need to carry the mains admit card. Without the prelims admit card, candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam
- Candidates called for the mains exam need to bring the authenticated prelims admit and ID proof alongwith the mains admit card to the exam centre
Reporting Time & Late Entry
- Candidates must report at the SBI PO exam centre 15 minutes before the reporting time
- Latecomers will not be allowed to take the test. Candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall till the exam is over
Registration at Exam Centre
- Registration at the exam venue will be done through photo capture. Photo captured will be matched with the photo uploaded by candidates in the application (As printed in the call letter)
- The signature of candidates should tally with the one uploaded during registration. In case of any discrepancy, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination
Items Allowed Inside the Exam Centre
Candidates must bring stationery such as pencils, glue, eraser, ink stamp pad, and ballpoint pen with them to the examination hall
Items Not Allowed Inside the Exam Centre
- Any stationery items such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner are not allowed
- Any communication device such as bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc. is not allowed
- Other items such as goggles, handbags, hair-pin, hair-band, belt, cap, Any watch/wristwatch, camera, any metallic item, any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle (only transparent water bottle is allowed), etc. are not allowed
- After displaying the health status through Aarogya Setu app, candidates are required to switch off their mobile phones and deposit them at the designated location
- Candidates are advised to avoid wearing ornaments such as rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooch, etc.
SBI PO Exam Day Guidelines Related to Dress Code
Candidates are advised to follow the following dress code:
- Candidates must wear light clothes which cannot be used for hiding any instruments or communication devices
- Candidates need to wear half sleeves but not have big buttons or any badge, brooches, etc.
- Candidates must wear slippers/sandals and not shoes
- Candidates wearing customary/religious dresses should report at the centre at least 20 minute prior to the reporting time for proper checking

SBI PO prelims exam will be conducted in four shifts. The mains exam is conducted in two shifts.
