Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting NDA 2 2025 exam. NDA 2 shift timings are 10 AM to 12.30 PM and 2.00 PM to 4.30 PM. According to students, the difficulty level of the Maths paper was moderate. Questions were asked from Algebra, Calculus, Matrices and Determinants, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Trigonometry, Vector Algebra, Analytical Geometry Of Two and Three Dimension and Statistics and Probability. NDA 2 Maths Exam Analysis 2025

Shiksha reported live from one of the NDA exam centres to gather the feedback of candidates regarding the difficulty level of the exam. Check below the feedback shared by students.

Sarthak Singh said, "The Maths paper carried a total of 120 questions. The difficulty level was moderate. The Calculus portion was easy whereas the Algebra questions were tough. There was no change in the exam pattern."

Dev Sharma said, "The difficulty level of the Maths paper was moderate. Questions were asked from Trigonometry, Matrices & Determinants, Calculus, etc. The questions from Calculus were tough."

Shaurya said, "The difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate. The Algebra part of the paper was easy. The Integration & Calculus part was difficult."

Q:   How do you know your NDA exam centres?
A: 

UPSC releases the list of test cities along with the notification. Candidates are required to choose one test city as per their preferences while filling the application form. One test city can have multiple exam centres. The details regarding the NDA exam centres are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to appear for the exam at the allotted test centre or else their answer scripts are not evaluated. While appearing for the exam, candidates need to carry the printed copy of their admit cards along with one photo-identity proof to the allotted NDA exam centre.

Q:   Is NCERT enough for NDA exam preparation?
A: 

It is always advised to follow NCERT books for NDA exam. Candidates must refer to the high school books to clear the concepts of the topics given in the syllabus. 

Q:   Is 340 a good score in NDA?
A: 

To clear the NDA exam, you generally need to score between 340 to 360 out of 900 marks. NDA cut off for written exam is calculated out of 900. NDA cut off for final selection is calculated out of 1800. NDA cut off is calculated based on difficulty level of the exam, number of test takers, number of vacancies.

A: 

NDA exam is highly competitive. Candidates can crack the exam with proper preparation and practice.

Sandhya singh said, "The overall difficulty level of the GAT paper was moderate. The Geography section was bit hard."

Saurav said, "The GAT paper was moderate in terms of difficulty. The maximum questions were asked from General Studies. Current Affairs questions were based on latest events."

Vhabshya said, "The Current Affairs questions were latest. The overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate."

Yes, you can give the NDA exam as you have qualified the Class 12 exam. As per the age requirement candidates age should lie between 16.5 to 19.5 years to apply for the NDA exam. However, go through the eligibility criteria properly once before applying for the exam.

The NDA 2 2026 notification was released by the UPSC on May 20 at upsc.gov.in. Along with the notification, the application process started. The last date to apply is June 11, 2026.
