The CUET UG counselling registration at Devi Alhiya Vishwavidyalaya for admission to undergraduate courses will be conducted after National Testing Agency announces the CUET result. Aspiring candidates looking for admission after Class 12, can apply for DAVV CUET UG admission only if they appeared for CUET UG 2026 and apply for DAVV counselling. The university will release the admission process and important links, such as registration link, cut off marks, etc., at dauniv.ac.in

To get admission at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, a candidate must fulfill the university's CUET passing marks criteria for the selected course. Only then will a candidate be eligible to participate in the DAVV's admission process and CUET counselling. Q:   How to apply for counselling after CUET?
A: 

After obtaining the CUET results, candidates will be able to apply for CUET counselling for various participating universities. To apply for CUET UG counselling, candidates can follow the process below;

  • Register for the CUET cousnelling process on official website of participating university
  • Fill the CUET UG admission application form like CSAS UG for DU, BHU UET application form for BHU and so forth.
  • Upload the CUET UG scorecard or enter the marks obtained in the eligible subjects
  • Declaration of admission status/ CUET cut off
  • Visit the university for verification of documents and pay the admission fee
Q:   How many seats are offered through CUET UG counselling?
A: 

The number of seats offered through CUET UG counselling is not certain, it is estimated to be approximately 10,000 seats. Seat availability depends on course and university that candidate has applied for. Candidates can check the university wise CUET counselling seats on its repective official website.

Q:   When will the CUET UG counselling process commence?
A: 

CUET UG counselling process schedule is announced by the participating universities after the declaration of CUET results. The process will be conducted separately by the universities and it will not be a centralised counselling system. The CUET 2025 counselling process will have the following stages:

  • Each participating institute will release its individual rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2025.
  • Candidates will have to register online and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.
  • Upon seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission offer.

DAVV Admission Process Through CUET 2026

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya gives admission to students after Class 12 through the CUET exam. To be eligible for the counselling process of DAVV, candidates must apply and appear for Common University Entrance Test (UG) 2026 and apply for admission at this university. Follow these steps for the DAVV admission process.

  1. Appear for the CUET UG 2026 exam
  2. Fill out the CUET (UG) 2026 Counseling Registration Form for DAVV
  3. DAVV will declare Merit List based on NTA Scores
  4. Candidates have to do Online Choice Filling of Programmes
  5. DAVV will allot programme by sending the allotment letter
  6. Candidates have to verify documents and submit fee at the university
  7. Candidates who did not register for the first round have to complete registration for Counselling Round 2
  8. Candidates have to follow the above process until step 6.
  9. The university will conduct a Spot Admission Round

DAVV CUET 2026 Admission: Application Process

To gain admission to DAVV through CUET, candidates must fill out the online admission form available on the university's official website. Once the application form is completed and submitted, candidates have to pay the DAVV counselling fee and upload the relevant documents to complete the admission process.

Steps to Fill DAVV CUET UG Counselling Registration Form

Below is the process candidates must follow to fill out and submit the DAVV application form.

1. Visit the official website of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya - dauniv.ac.in or davv.mponline.gov.in

2. If you are following the second link, enter the following details:

  • CUET application number
  • Date of birth (as per CUET application form)
  • Group Selection (based on Course-wise Eligibility Criteria given in the Admission Brochure)

3. Click on the Register button to access the DAVV application form for CUET admissions.

4. Log in once again to fill the online application form along with the course-college choices.

5. Upload all relevant documents, including scanned copies of a passport-size photo, signature, and other mandatory documents.

6. Pay the online Registration Fee of INR 1500 + Portal Charges of INR 100 to complete the registration.

Q:   What documents are required during BHU CUET counselling registration?
A: 

Candidates need to upload scanned copies of a few documents during the registration procedure. The documents must be in PDF / JPEG format. Below is the list of documents.

  • Matriculation or its equivalent certificate.
  • Class 12 mark sheet.
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and income certificate (SC/ST) issued by the appropriate authority.

Q:   When will CUET result be declared?

CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be available at CUET results 2026. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET 2026 scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET 2026 results when released. CUET UG 2026 exam is ongoing.

Q:   What is CUET result date?
A: 

NTA will announce the CUET result 2026 tentatively in first week of July. CUET UG result 2026 will be announced at cuet.nta.nic.in online. Candidates who will appear for the exam can check their scores online. Students will be required to enter their login credentials to view the CUET scorecard 2026. NTA will mention the applicant's details and subject-wise score for CUET 2026. The scores will be sent to the universities for which candidates have applied soon after the declaration of results. Candidates must note that the role of NTA ends soon after the declaration of CUET results 2026.

Candidates eligible for admission to UG courses/integrated courses through CUET UG 2026 at DAVV can participate in the counselling process by completing the above steps. Candidates are required to bring in the following documents at the time of counselling to complete their admission process:

Q:   I have filled in for 3 domain subjects in CUET. How will it affect my result if I only attempt 2 of it?
A: 

While filling the CUET application form, candidates are advised to carefully mark the subjects from languages, domain subjects and general test. Candidates must check the institute wise subject requirement for the course candidate wishes to apply for. If the candidate has applied for four CUET domain subjects and appears for three subjects, it may affect the overall percentile of the candidate. However, if the domain subjects for which the student has appeared, qualify as per the institute’s course requirement, they will be eligible for admission process.

Q:   Who conducts CUET UG counselling?
A: 

The CUET UG counselling is conducted by the universities acepting CUET UG scores seperately. Candidates will have to apply seperately for each university to appear for the CUET UG counselling process. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conduction counselling process for CUET UG admissions. The participating universities conduct CUET counselling on the basis of candidate's CUET score and college preferences. The candidates are supposed to fill the forms for college and course for seat allotment. Candidates must stay updated with the important dates for admission to participating universities.

Q:   Is CUET UG counselling important for admission to University of Delhi?
A: 

Yes, candidates must have CUET UG score to apply for admissions at University of Delhi. Admission to UG courses of DU is offered through CUET UG scores. DU releases the CUET UG DU cut off for courses and colleges. Only candidates meeting the cut off criteria will be offered final admission to the desired course. 

Q:   I am a class 12th board topper. Do I need to participate in CUET UG counselling or will I be offered direct admission?
A: 

Yes, candidate will have to participate in CUET UG counselling process even if they are class 12th topper. Candidates cannnot get direct admission to central universities without CUET. Class 12th marks are generally used for tie breaking criteria only.

Q:   What to do after the declaration of CUET result?
A: 

The final CUET answer key published by the NTA serves as the basis for the CUET result. Following this, it is anticipated that all of the participating universities will publish their separate cut-off lists (admission/merit lists) and dates for student acceptance to various UG programs.

Candidates must now complete the application in order to be admitted to the college they choose during the application process. Depending on the number of open seats, the college will release a separate cutoff and merit list in one or more rounds following the submission of the registration form on the college website.

No, CUET-UG counselling is yet to begin for academic year 2026. Results for this year's exam are scheduled to release by July. Counselling rounds will begin only after results have been declared. Candidates can track counselling dates from website of TISS, Mumbai for BSc admission.

No, candidates cannot get admission into BA at Tata Institute of Social Sciences without appearing for CUET-UG. Candidates will be selected during CUET-UG counselling for which, appearing in its entrance exam is a mandatory requirement.

Yes, CUET-UG is a mandatory entrance exam for admission into Tata Institute of Social Sciences BA course. No other entrance exams are accepted for admission into this course and candidates cannot apply directly.

CUET-UG registrations also affect admission schedule if TISS, Mumbai.

No, CUET is not compulsory to take admission in MIT School of Business and Computer Applications, MIT-ADT University. Admission is generally merit-based.  The college also considers specific entrance exams scores such as BBA/BCA CET exam conducted by the university.

Yes, it is possible to get in DU without CUET. However, this is not applicable for traditional regular UG courses. For most programmes, the university asks for CUET UG or CUET PG score.
