DU has activated its CSAS UG 2026 for admissions to the Undergraduate courses offered through CUET 2026. Candidates can fill their applications till July 11. The University of Delhi will release the first list of CSAS UG 2026 seat allotment on July 16. The candidates can see the DU 2026 SEAT intake through CUET here. Know the number of seats offered for UR, OBC-NCL, SC,ST, EWS, Sikh, Christian, PwBD, CW and KM for all UG courses and DU colleges.

DU UG 2026 CSAS Seat Intake for the year 2026-27 has been released by the University of Delhi. Candidates who are seeking admission to undergraduate programmes of DU must check the program-wise seat details. The DU CSAS 2026 applications are open till July 11. The candidates can fill their course and programme choices, college preferences and subject combinations. The Delhi University is offering 73 Bachelor's programmes and 150 B.A Programme Combinations. DU CSAS UG 2026 first list will be out on July 16.

DU Seats 2026 Highlights

  • More than 69,000 seats (approx.) are available in 64 DU colleges through a merit-based admission process.
  • Although Delhi University comprises a total of 91 colleges, only 64 of them follow the merit-based route for admissions.
  • Within the Delhi University colleges, 85 per cent of the seats are earmarked for candidates from Delhi, while the remaining 15 per cent are specifically set aside for candidates from outside Delhi.

The University of Delhi will release the DU CSAS UG 2026 merit list on July 16. On the basis of the acceptance of seats, the authorities release the number of DU vacant seats.

Q:   When will CUET DU CSAS portal open?
A: 

DU CSAS portal was activated at ugadmission.uod.ac.in in the last week of June.  The DU Phase 1 Registrations were started within this same month and Phase 2 registration started in July. The last date to fill the DU UG 2026 applications was scheduled in second week of July.

Q:   What is CUET UG exam slot and timing?
A: 

CUET 2026 exam was held in two slots. first slot was held between 9 AM to 12 PM and second slot was held between 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates could check the exact subject-ise timings on their admit card. 

Q:   What is the medium of CUET UG?
A: 

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG is conducted Assamese, Bengali,  English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi,  Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu languages. Candidates must note that the selection of medium will be restricted to state/UTs. Refer the table below to know the mediums restricte to respective state/UTs:

Q:   What is CUET UG exam?
A: 

Common University Entrance Test/ CUET UG is an entrance exam. It is conducted for admission to UG programs offered by various central, state, private and deemed universities. Candidates willing to take admission to undergraduation programme in streams like Science, Humanities, Commerce, Law and Management must appear for CUET UG exam when conducted.

This entrance examination assesses candidates at various levels: Language, domain knowledge and general aptitude. CUET UG is conducted annually in computer based mode. CUET UG scores are accepted by more than 300 universities across India.

Commonly asked questions
Q:   How is CUET exam centre allocated?
A: 

CUET exam centre is allocated on the basis of the preferences entered by the candidate while filling the CUET application form. NTA allocates an exam centre as per the preference entered and is subject to availability and logistical considerations.

While filling the CUET application form, candidates can select four cities of their choice. Choice of CUET exam centre cities will be limited to the State of permanent address or State of present address only. In case there are very few candidates from a city, the NTA reserves the right to merge one, two, or more cities.

CUET 2026 exam was held till June 6 ,2026 in computer based mode over a month window. The exam will be held across more than 300 exam cities in India. Candidates will be able to know the alloted exam centre on issuance of CUET intimation slip or CUET admit card.

Q:   What is the CUET exam duration for each subject?
A: 

As per CUET exam pattern, the subjects are divided into three sections as:

Section I- Languages 

Section II- Domain Subject

Section III- General Test

Candidates will get 60 minutes for each subject. Candidates will not be given extra time.

Q:   How can I check my CUET exam centre?
A: 

Candidates can check the CUET 2026 allotted exam centre upon release of CUET intimation slip and CUET admit card. Only candidates who will fill the CUET application form along with the successful application fee payment will be able to download the intimation slip for CUET exam. The name of exam centre will be mentioned on the intimation alip in advance to help candidates make preparations accordingly. The CUET 2026 admit card is expected to release three to four days prior to the day of examination in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the following details on the release of CUET 2026 admit card:

  1. Name of the candidate
  2. Registration number
  3. Category
  4. Location
  5. Date of exam
  6. Time of exam
  7. Exam centre name & address
  8. Photograph
  9. Signature
  10. Instructions related to the exam 

Candidates must note that the CUET exam centre once allotted, no request for change in exam centre will be entertained under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to carefully enter the exam centre preference while filling the CUET 2026 application form.

Q:   When should I reach the CUET exam centre?
A: 

Candidates must reach alloted CUET exam centre two hours before mentioned exam time. Candidates must complete verification process and take their seats immediately after the opening of examination hall. If the candidates does not report at alloted CUET exam centre on time due to traffic, delay in transport, important instructions to appear for the exam can be missed.
