Allahabad University Admission
Allahabad University admission through CUET UG 2026 will commence tentatively in third week of July 2026. AU has released the official notification for CUET UG 2026 admissions. Candidates can apply for admission to Allahabad University UG program at alldunivcuet.samarth.edu.in. For admission to its undergraduate programs across its 12 constituent colleges students must appear for CUET English or CUET Hindi and CUET General Test for admissions. Candidates desirous of admission to Allahabad University's undergraduate programme must make sure that they have registered at Allahabad University Samarth portal and appeared for CUET 2026. Allahabad University UG Admission 2026 Through CUET: Important Dates
Table below mentions the important dates for AU admission 2026 through CUET UG
National Testing Agency (NTA) does not release the CUET UG cutoff. Once the CUET results are declared, the socres are shared with the participating universities and role of NTA ends with the declaration of results. CUET UG 2025 cutoff has been released by the CUET participtaing universities seperatley. Candidates will be able to check the course wise and category wise cutoff. CUET UG cutoff 2026 has been released by accepting universities after declaration of CUET UG results.
The CUET UG cut off is determined by CUET participating universities seperately. Parameters on the basis of which CUET UG cut off is released are:
- Total number of candidates that appeared for the CUET UG exam
- The number of seats offered by the participating universities through CUET UG
- The difficulty level of the CUET exam
- Overall performance of the test takers (pass percentage/ score range, etc.)
CUET cut off is based on the percentile of the candidate. To calculate the CUET percentile following formula is applied:
100*Number of candidates appeared in the session with a raw score is equal to or less than a candidate/ total number of candidates appeared for CUET UG.

Allahabad University UG Admission 2025: CUET Counselling Stages
To appear for CUET counselling process of Allahabad University, candidates must appear for the below stages:
- Register for CUET UG 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in
- Appear for CUET UG exam as per the subjects studied in Class 12th

Register for CUET UG
CUET UG registration is important for applying to AU UG program. All the details such as date of birth, name of the candidate, gender, Caste, UG course selected and etc. will be auto-integrated from the CUET application form. Candidates must ensure to enter the details carefully while filling the CUET UG application form.

Candidates must make sure to select CUET language- English or Hindi and CUET General test along with ONE domain subject aligning with subject studied in class 12th. Candidates must appear for the exam on the given date, time, and exam centre. The CUET UG 2026 exam will be held in CBT format, wherein candidates have to report at the allotted exam centre on the day of the examination. Candidates must make sure to follow the exam day guidelines to avoid any disqualifications.

Candidates applying for the Undergraduate program of Allahabad University must keep a scan or copy of the required documents/ certificates on his or her laptop/desktop. Candidates are advised to remember their NTA CUET UG application number and password to begin filling the AU admission form. The above steps will be applicable only if instittues release the CUET UG cut offs. Otherwise, if the institutes release merit lists carrying their scores, then the minimum score would be considered as the CUET UG cut off. Universities like Delhi University does not released CUET cut off. Candidates will know the college/course allocated on the basis of the preferences filled by the candidate while filling the application form.

Generate Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID
Candidates must generate the Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID by visiting the official website- abc.gov.in. Candidates must follow the steps mentioned below to get the ABC ID
- Go to link provided- www.abc.gov.in
- Click on the tab ‘My account’ on the right side of the web page.
- Now select ‘student’ tab from the dropdown.
- Candidates having Digilocker account can log in by entering the details and OTP. Candidates not having an account on Digilocker must register using their mobile number and Aadhar card number.
- After signing in, select the University tab and select Allahabad University from the dropdown.
- Complete the registration process
- Note the ABC ID.

Seat Allocation and Admissions
Allahabad University will consider CUET UG score to calculate the merit scores as per the program-specific eligibility. Candidates who do not have caste-supporting documents will not be eligible for admission to UG program of AU. Basis the preference entered by the candidate and the availability of seats, the computer will allocate the seats at AU.

- Candidates who have paid the admission fee and have been verified must lock the allotted college.

Obtain a Provisional Admission Letter
Once candidates receive provisional admission, they are required to visit the counselling location to collect their admission letter from the AU admissions officer. Within the provisional AU admission letter, students must meticulously review essential details like the admission fee and the deadline for payment. Being attentive to this crucial information will ensure a smooth and well-informed enrollment process for the students.
Payment of Fee
After obtaining the admission letter, candidates must pay the balance fee using the link provided on the dashboard. If there will be a surplus fee, the amount will be refunded. After the payment of the AU fee, candidates must report at the respective faculty/department on the mentioned date along with the admission letter and other original documents.
