JNU Admission Through CUET 2026: Jawaharlal Nehru University will start the JNU UG Admission through CUET 2026 soon. The JNU admission application form 2026 will be released on the official website in July 2026. Candidates who are seeking JNU Admission through CUET UG 2026 must apply before the last date (July 2026). Q:   How to apply for counselling after CUET?
A:

After obtaining the CUET results, candidates will be able to apply for CUET counselling for various participating universities. To apply for CUET UG counselling, candidates can follow the process below;

  • Register for the CUET cousnelling process on official website of participating university
  • Fill the CUET UG admission application form like CSAS UG for DU, BHU UET application form for BHU and so forth.
  • Upload the CUET UG scorecard or enter the marks obtained in the eligible subjects
  • Declaration of admission status/ CUET cut off
  • Visit the university for verification of documents and pay the admission fee
Q:   When will the CUET UG counselling process commence?
A:

CUET UG counselling process schedule is announced by the participating universities after the declaration of CUET results. The process will be conducted separately by the universities and it will not be a centralised counselling system. The CUET 2025 counselling process will have the following stages:

  • Each participating institute will release its individual rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2025.
  • Candidates will have to register online and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.
  • Upon seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission offer.
Q:   I am class 12th board topper. Do I need to participate in CUET UG counselling? Or will I be offered direct admission in central university?
A:

Yes, you will have to appear for the CUET counselling rounds of the central universities. Admission to central universities is offered based on CUET UG scores. Candidates must note that class 12th marks will not be considered for final admission to UG courses of central universities. Class 12th marks are used for tie-breaking criteria. Candidates must ensure to appear for Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses to qualify for counselling rounds.

JNU offers admissions to its various UG level and COP courses through CUET UG. Candidates appearing for CUET 2026 can directly apply for the admission and participate in the JNU CUET Counselling. Steps to Fill JNU Application Form 2026

  • Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and click on the JNUEE/JNU CUET. Thereafter, click the link that reads “Fill Application Form for JNUEE/JNU CUET 2026”.
  • Register by providing the required details such as name, contact details etc.
  • Fill the application form while providing personal details, contact details, Income details, academic record details etc.
  • Upload the required documents and pay the required application fee.

Jawaharlal Nehru University admission through CUET 2026: Merit List

After completing the JNU counselling application, Jawaharlal Nehru University will release a JNU admission merit list. The varsity prepares the JNU UG Merit List based on the CUET score. While preparing the merit list, JNU considers the marks secured by the candidates in CUET 2026 and reservation criteria. The varsity will release the final merit list on its official website. Once released, Candidates can check the merit list online at jnu.ac.in. Candidates are also suggested to check the course-specific CUET merit list for JNU admissions 2026.

CUET 2026 Seat Allotment for Jawaharlal Nehru University

After releasing the final merit list, JNE will prepare the seat allotment list for admission to its UG and COP programs. Candidates will be able to download the JNU seat allotment list from the official website of JNU. Along with the seat allotment list, JNU will also release the provisional admission letter. The candidates will be required to use their login ID and password to be able to download the seat allotment list of JNU. Once the admission letter is downloaded, candidates need to complete the admission process by paying the course admission fee.

No, the college does not accepts CUET exam. However, for students can get admisisons on the basis of other exams. These are as CMAT, KMAT, PGCET and MAT. Students can fill the exam forms from their official website. They must meet  minimum eligibility criteria for the course.
