DU CSAS Counselling Process

The University of Delhi asks CUET UG-qualified candidates to fill out its Counselling registration form. The University has a Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) in place, which considers the seats opted by the candidates, their CUET score in a particular subject, the category of the candidate and the seat availability in that category and other quota claims while preparing a merit list for each course of college.

The University releases a college-wise cutoff for all the undergraduate courses in a round-wise manner. In each round, the university allocates the courses in the colleges and ask the candidates to report and take admission in the allotted course and college.

There are cases where one candidate is eligible for more than one course. Such a candidate takes admission to his desired course and the rest of the allotted seats remain vacant. Such seats are considered in the next round of Counselling for allocation.
