CUET is one of the biggest Undergraduate entrance examinations for admission to participating universities offering UG programs. CUET 2026 will be a computer-based test. Q:   Is CUET exam date announced?
A: 

National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the CUET 2026 exam date in first week of March. NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2026 exam tentatively in May/June 2026. The exam will be conducted in multiple slots each day. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in two slots: 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM.

CUET 2026 registrations will commence at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET for admission to UG courses at Central, State, Private, or Deemed universities must complete the online application form to appear for the CUET 2026 exam. Only registered candidates can appear for the exam as per the schedule.

Q:   When can I apply for the CUET exam?

National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates desirous of taking admission to University/college through CUET must fill the application form before the deadline. On the release of the CUET notification important dates for CUET 2026 will be announced. CUET 2025 application process will be in online mode. DU CSAS portal 2025 is now active at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. University of Delhi launched CSAS portal 2025 on June 17, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the CUET 2025 exam can register at DU CSAS 2025 portal. Candidates will be required to enter the college and course preference and pay the DU CSAS registration 2025 fee to participate in the admission process. On the basis of the choices entered and CUET 2025 percentile, candidates will be alloted college and course. CUET 2025 result will be declared in last week of June 2025 at cuet.nta.nic.in.

About NTA: Conducting Body

National Testing Agency will conduct the CUET 2026 examination in multiple windows. The examination will be conducted for admission to UG programs of the participating universities across India. The role of NTA is confined to registering candidates, conducting the test, hosting answer keys, inviting challenges, finalising answer keys, preparing and declaring CUET results, and hosting scorecards. The role of NTA will end soon after the release of CUET 2026 results.

CUET Correction Window 2026

NTA opens the CUET 2026 correction window for registered candidates. As per the bulletin information, candidates will be able to modify the following details:

CUET Exam Pattern 2026

CUET will be conducted in 13 languages. Candidates will be able to opt for the language while filling the examination form.

Candidates will be issued the CUET admit card 2026 online. Only candidates who will pay the CUET application fee will be able to download the CUET 2026 admit card when released. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall without the admit card. Candidates will be given details for contact in case of any discrepancy in the CUET admit card. The date of downloading the CUET admit card will be announced by NTA. Applicants must note that they will not be issued the CUET admit card physically.

CUET: Important Instructions to Candidates

Candidates are advised to read the instructions for CUET UG exam carefully. Any candidates not obeying the guidelines will be disqualified for admission to participating universities.

CUET 2026 Exam Cities

Cities where CUET exam will be conducted will be mentioned in the CUET notification. Candidates can select two chosen cities while filling out the CUET application form 2026. NTA will allot the CUET exam centre as per availability. CUET exam centre 2026 will be spread across more than 170 cities in India.  

CUET 2026 Answer Key

NTA will display the CUET 2026 provisional answer key soon after the all slots are over. Candidates will be able to check their response and answer key. Applicants will be able to challenge the CUET answer key by paying the fee of INR 200.

Only paid challenges will be considered for verification. Challenges without justification/evidence will be rejected.

Based on the challenges received, NTA will release the CUET final answer key soon after.

CUET 2026 Results

CUET results 2026 are expected to be announced in last week of June 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in. Only candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to download their scorecard online. CUET result 2026 will be based on the final answer key.

The scores/result of CUET (UG) - 2023 may be utilized by other organisations as per their eligibility criteria/norms/applicable regulations/guidelines/rules

Candidates who are not well-versed and are facing difficulties in filling the CUET application form can use the common service centre. There are more than 1.5 lacs CUET service centres across country.

Q:   What is CUET UG passing marks?
A: 

There are no prescribed passing marks for CUET UG. In order to know if a candidate has passed the CUET 2025 exam or not or is eligible for admission to desired course and university, they are required to check the passing marks released by the colleges/university seperately. After the declaration of CUET result, all the colleges or universities will release the course-wise passing marks or CUET UG cutoff, which will be used for shortlisting candidates for admission to UG courses.

On the basis of the cut off released by the CUET participating universities and candidates meeting the criteria will be offered amdission to UG courses.

Q:   I have forgotten my CUET application number. How can I login for CUET application form?
A: 

If a candidate has forgotten his/her CUET application number, it can be retrieved by following the steps below:

  • Check registered email ID and phone number for SMS as It includes CUET application form number on successful registration.
  • Check the saved page of CUET application form. or,
  • Candidates may contact at NTA to know their CUET application form number.

After getting the CUET application number, students must ensure to note it somewhere for future login process. CUET application form number is required to login and download the admit card or results when released.

Q:   How to calculate score using CUET answer key?
A: 

Candidates will be able to calculate their probable secured scores using the CUET UG answer key. All candidates will have to compare their CUET responses to the CUET 2025 answer key. The official CUET UG marking scheme has to be followed by the candidates. The calculated total will be the probable scores secured in the exam. However, the scores will be indicative and may differ from the result.

The CUET UG counselling is conducted by the universities acepting CUET UG scores seperately. Candidates will have to apply seperately for each university to appear for the CUET UG counselling process. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conduction counselling process for CUET UG admissions. The participating universities conduct CUET counselling on the basis of candidate's CUET score and college preferences. The candidates are supposed to fill the forms for college and course for seat allotment. Candidates must stay updated with the important dates for admission to participating universities.

Q:   How can I access the CUET UG cut off list?
A: 

Students can access the CUET UG cut off list only after the cut offs are released by the CUET UG participating universities. The following steps should be followed to access the CUET cut off list of universities candidate is desirous to take admission in.

  • Visit the official website of the applied and participating institutes
  • On the homepage, click on the link to the current academic session CUET Cut Off
  • A new login page will open on screen. Enter the credentials and submit
  • Now, you can access the CUET UG cut off list when released

The above steps will be applicable only if instittues release the CUET UG cut offs. Otherwise, if the institutes release merit lists carrying their scores, then the minimum score would be considered as the CUET UG cut off. Universities like Delhi University does not released CUET cut off. Candidates will know the college/course allocated on the basis of the preferences filled by the candidate while filling the application form.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) sample papers are released by the conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA). To download the CUET sample papers and previous year question papers candidates can get the direct link on this website. To download the CUET question papers candidates must refer the steps mentioned below:

Q:   When will NTA release CUET UG cutoff?
A: 

National Testing Agency (NTA) does not release the CUET UG cutoff. Once the CUET results are declared, the socres are shared with the participating universities and role of NTA ends with the declaration of results. CUET UG 2025 cutoff has been released by the CUET participtaing universities seperatley. Candidates will be able to check the course wise and category wise cutoff. CUET UG cutoff 2026 has been released by accepting universities after declaration of CUET UG results.

Q:   What are the details mentioned on the CUET UG scorecard?
A: 

CUET UG result 2025 will be declared tentatively on July 02 at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the scorecard online. Candidates on downloading the CUET 2025 scorecard, must check for the following details mentioned on the scorecard:

  • Application number
  • Roll number
  • Candidate's name
  • Mother's name
  • Father's name
  • Category
  • Gender
  • Person with benchmark disability (PwBD)

Q:   Can I change the CUET exam centre allotted to me?
A: 

On release of the CUET city intimation slip and CUET admit card, no request for change in exam centre will be entertained. Allotment of candidates to the Shift will be based on the options exercised and technical and administrative considerations. CUET 2026 admit cards will be issued for each shift based on the components opted by candidates. No request for change of date/shift will be entertained. Candidates will be alloted the CUET exam centre as per the preferences filled by them during the registartion process. Candidates are advised to fill the CUET application form details carefully. CUET exam is conducted in more than 200 exam centres across India. 

Q:   How many rounds are conducted in CUET counselling?
A: 

The frequency of CUET counselling rounds is dependent on the availability of vacant seats and differs from one university to another. Typically, CUET accepting colleges conducts three rounds of counselling, but this count can fluctuate based on the remaining vacancies after each round. CUET counseling is overseen by the NTA, and only candidates meeting the CUET cut-off criteria are deemed eligible for the examination. To be considered, candidates typically need to secure a score between 300-400 in the CUET, with a score of 500 being regarded as excellent, increasing the likelihood of admission to reputable colleges. Number of seats offered in various courses can vary across participating CUET UG universities. For instance, Delhi University provides approximately 70,000 CUET UG seats.

Q:   Is CUET syllabus based on CBSE syllabus?
A: 

No, CUET syllabus is not based on CBSE syllabus as claimed by Education Ministry in Rajya Sabha. The CUET exam is designed to assess the general understandig of the candidate in subjects he/she has opted for. CUET UG is on of the biggest UG entrance exam carnival conducted for admission in cebtral, state, private and deemed universities.

Candidates preparing for CUET UG exam must check the detailed CUET syllabus and CUET question paper to become familiar with the important topics and type of questions asked in the exam. 

Q:   Is CUET UG counselling conducted in a centralised manner?
A: 

No, CUET UG counselling is not conducted in a centralised manner. The counselling or the admission process is conducted separately for each institute based on their own eligibility and admission criteria. Candidates who will appear for CUET 2026 will be required to check the selection criteria and other admission details of their preferred colleges individually to be able to make the correct decision. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conducting counselling process for CUET UG admissions. The participating universities conduct CUET counselling on the basis of candidate's CUET score and college preferences. You can't do BBA from CUET with PCB in 12 th as CUET requires the same subjects as in 12th for BBA you need math's English and general test

No, Bapuji Academy of Management & Research (BAMR) is not under CUET. The academy accepts the scores of certain other entrance exams such as, MAT/PGCET/KMAT. Candidates who have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category) can apply for admission.

No, Terna Global Business School is not under CUET. Rather the college accepts scores of various other entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, MAH-CET, etc. Candidates are not required to appear for the CUET exam rather they must appear for any of these exams.
