Candidates must pass BE/ BTech in relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate to apply for VIT Chennai M.Tech programme. VIT Chennai admissions are currently open. Interested candidates can apply online for the preferred course. Admission to VIT Chennai offered courses is merit or entrance-based. The deemed-to-be university considers national or university-level entrance exams such as VITMEE, VITEEE, VITREE, CAT, MAT, CLAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Selected candidates further need to come for a personal interview round for some of the programmes.

Candidates must complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology with at least 60% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST and applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.) to apply for VIT Chennai BTech programme. 

Age Limit

Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2003 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2025.Candidates who fail to produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counselling, shall stand disqualified.

The applicant for VITEEE should be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National / OCI / PIO Holder.
