The exam day guidelines for Maharashtra HSC exam are given below.

- Take a printout of the Maharashtra HSC hall ticket, as the soft copy will not be allowed in the examination. Keep the admit card and other required documents safely
- Use only blue or black ink pens for the examination
- Do not use any unfair means during the exam

Students are advised to reach the Maharashtra HSC exam centre at least half an hour before the commencement of exams. The exam timings are mentioned in the maha HSC hall ticket. In case a student gets late in reaching the exam centre, he/she must understand that they will not be given any extra time to write the exam.

MSBSHSE conducts the Maharashtra 12th supplementary exam for those who are unable to clear the Maharashtra HSC exam. Students will have to appear for the Supplementary exam which will be conducted by the Board in June/July. The details will be announced by the Board after the declaration of the Maharashtra 12th result. The students will have to apply and pay the requisite fee to appear for the Supplementary exams.
After the declaration of the result, students should decide their next step in terms of career. If their result is not satisfactory, they have to decide whether they would like to apply for re-evaluation or appear for the supplementary exams. For other students, it is time to apply to colleges or submit the mark sheet to the colleges they have already applied for. They should decide the subject they want to pursue. They should prepare for various entrance tests they have applied for and the interview rounds.
