CBSE Class 12 Admit Card 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the CBSE 12th supplementary admit card 2026 on the official website- cbse.nic.in in the last week of January 2026. Schools will download the CBSE 12th admit card 2026 for all students, get them signed by the school principal, and hand them over to students. All Class 12 students must collect their CBSE admit card 2026 Class 12 from their school and carry it on all exam days. Without the CBSE 12th admit card 2026 no student will be allowed to write the exam. 

CBSE 12th exams 2026 will be held between February 17 and April 4, 2026 in pen and paper format. Private Students can download the CBSE 12th admit card 2026 themselves using their login credentials from the official website. It is important to carry the CBSE 12th Class admit card on all exam days. The CBSE 12th admit card 2026 shares the student's details like name, roll number, admit card number, exam dates, centre, etc.

In the last academic session, CBSE released the CBSE 12th admit card on Feb 3, 2025.

CBSE 2026 Admit Card – How to download (for Schools)?

  • Visit the official website – cbse.gov.in and then go to the Pariksha Sangam Portal
  • Under the Pariksha Sangam portal for Schools, click on the link for ‘Pre-Exam Activities’
  • Click on the link for ‘Admit Card, Centre Material for Board Exam 2026’
  • Enter the online user ID created at the time for Class 9th and 11th Registration
  • Download all admit cards and take a printout

Students are required to carry their CBSE Class 12 admit card on all days of the examination. They will not be allowed inside the exam hall, if they fail to produce the same. CBSE 12th Admit Card 2026 - Guidelines for students

  • Students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after 10:00 am
  • Students will only be allowed to enter the examination centre in proper school uniform. They must carry their CBSE 10th admit card, school ID card and permissible stationery items.
  • Students must visit their examination centre at least a day earlier so that they can reach the centre on time on all exam days
  • They must leave for the examination centre, taking into account the weather, traffic conditions, and other relevant factors.
  • The students and the Mother/Father/Guardian must check the photograph and all particulars mentioned in the admit card and sign at the appropriate plate after verifying its correctness
  • Students must not carry mobile phones or any other barred electronic items to the examination centre
  • All students must read and adhere to the important instructions mentioned in the admit card
  • Students must read the amended rules for Unfair practices
  • Students must refrain from spreading rumours and hosting any material on social websites, including WhatsApp, YouTube, Twitter etc.

Students need to work hard and prepare well for their Class 12 Board exams. They should complete the CBSE Class 12 syllabus 2026 and they also need to be familiar with the pattern of the exams. When they are well prepared, they will not feel the urge to cheat.

In case one gets caught cheating in CBSE 12th exams 2026, he/she must know the severe consequences of it. The Board released certain guidelines for students appearing for the board examinations. Students can download the official circular here.

To ensure that the exams are conducted fairly, CBSE has provided a clear list of items that are allowed and banned in the exam halls.

Following items are allowed in CBSE Board Exams:

  • Admit card and school identity card  (for regular students)
  • Admit card and any government-issued photo identity proof  (for private students)
  • Stationery items required: Transparent pouch, geometry box, blue/royal blue ink pens, scale, writing pad, eraser
  • Watch and transparent water bottle
  • Metro card, bus pass, and money

  • Stationery: Textual material (printed or written), calculator, pen drives, log table, electronic pen, scanner
  • Communication devices include: Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphone, health bands, smart watches, cameras, etc.
  • Other prohibited items include Wallets, goggles, handbags, pouches, food items etc (except in the case of diabetic students), or anything that may be used as an unfair means.

It is essentials for the students to adhere to these rules; any student found breaching them would be disqualified for exams.

CBSE Board Exam Dress Code: What to Wear

In order to ensure uniformity during the exam, CBSE has issued clear guidelines for the students on the dress code.

  • Regular students should wear school uniform.
  • Private candidates must wear light clothes that are suitable for the examination environment.

Following these dress code guidelines, the students ensure a hassle-free entry into the exam halls.

Penalties for Unfair Means and Violations

CBSE has specified a long list of unfair means under various heads: cheating, possession of unauthorized material, and adoption of malpractices in the examination hall. The punishments prescribed for these are severe and can be one or more of the following:

  • Cancellation of exams for the current and forthcoming year
  • Debarment from future exams in certain cases
  • Immediate disqualification if found indulging in cheating or using unfair means

With the objective of conducting the CBSE board exam with transparency and integrity, the board has called upon schools and examination authorities to be vigilant and initiate immediate action against any malpractice.

Yes, private students need to download the CBSE Class 12 admit card 2026 from the board's website- cbse.nic.in using login details.
