BITSAT 2020 exam postponed

BITSAT 2020: Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, has postponed the BITSAT 2020 exam. According to the details available on the official website, the exam will be conducted after May 24 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

New test dates along with the remaining schedule of the examination will be announced soon. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted on May 16- 25.

The exam conducting authority has also extended the last date to fill the BITSAT 2020 application form. Candidates can now fill the application form till April 26 (5 PM) online. The exam was also extended earlier till April 15. BITS has released the BITSAT 2020 application form on January 11, 2020. Registration/application procedure for BITSAT 2020 is an online process whereas fees can be paid in both offline and online mode.

BITS Pilani has asked the applicants to keep checking the official website for regular updates regarding the schedule for the entrance examination.

BITSAT 2020 is an online entrance exam conducted by the BITS, Pilani, for admissions to undergraduate engineering and other courses at its three campuses. Admission will be offered to the candidates into BE, BPharm and MSc programmes after qualifying this admission test.

Students can check the expected BITSAT cutoff to know the score range that they will have to secure to have a chance for admission into the course and campus of their preference. Knowing the score range, the students can accordingly prepare for the exam as they now have a goal set for themselves.

The official date for the BITSAT direct admission registration will be announced soon. Board toppers who meet the basic eligibility criteria can register for the direct admissions. No BITSAT score will be needed by the board toppers to secure a seat in the BITS campuses.

Yes, the students will be able to pay the BITSAT counselling fee offline. To make the offline payment, the students will have to pay through cash at any ICICI bank branch, along with a generated pay-in slip. Online payment methods are also available.

Yes, the students will have to pay the BITSAT counselling fee. To be registered for the counselling process, a fee of INR 1000 has to be paid. If the students fail to pay the fee before the final date, then they will not be considered for the allotment and admission process.
