IIT Delhi will release GATE 2020 Instrumentation Answer Key in the third week of February 2020. Candidates can check how to download GATE 2020 IN answer key, calculation process and more from below.

GATE 2020 Instrumentation Answer Key – The exam conducting authority Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has released the official answer key of Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE) 2020 for Instrumentation tentatively on February 18, 2020. However, the GATE Instrumentation Answer Key has been released by GATE Academy.

GATE Upcoming Events:

GATE 2020 for Instrumentation Engineering was conducted on February 01, 2020, in the forenoon session (9:30 am to 12:30 pm). Candidates who appeared in the Instrumentation Engineering (IN) exam can check the GATE Instrumentation Answer Key below. The answer key will have the correct answers to all the questions asked in the examination. The GATE 2020 Instrumentation question paper will also be released along with the answer key.

  • Visit the official website gate.iitd.ac.in
  • Click on the “GATE 2020 Answer Key” tab
  • Enter the required login credentials namely issued registration ID and password.
  • Now download GATE 2020 Instrumentation answer key and question paper

How to challenge the GATE 2020 Instrumentation Answer Key?

  1. Visit the official website of GATE.
  2. Now login to the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) using the login credentials.
  3. Read all the guidelines carefully given on the portal.
  4. Not tick the right and agree by checking on the declaration. 
  5. Click on the “Contest Answer Key" tab and mail objections related to the answer.
  6. Rs 500 has to be paid via an online portal provided for every question. 
  7. For NRI candidates of GATE needs to pay the US $10 per objection.
  8. Do not forget to attach a justified proof for challenging the GATE 2020 answer key.

How to calculate GATE Score using the answer key?

  • GATE Score = Marks obtained for MCQs + Marks obtained for NAT questions
  • MCQ Marks: Total marks (1 marks) + Total marks (2 marks)
  • Total marks (1 marks) = 1 x number of correct answers – 1/3 x number of wrong answers
  • Total marks (2 marks) = 2 x number of correct answers – 2/3 x number of wrong answers
  • NAT Marks: Total marks (1 marks) + Total marks (2 marks)

No, a duplicate GATE 2026 admit card will not be provided at the test center. Candidates must carry their own admit card along with the mentioned documents and items to the GATE exam center. IIT Guwahati will release the GATE admit card on January 2.

Yes, candidates will get a scribble pad in the GATE exam 2026 to do the rough work. Candidates have to write their name and registration number on the scribble pad before using it. However, the rough sheet must be returned after the completion of the exam.

As such, the GATE authorities have not mentioned anything regarding the black and white or colour printout of the GATE admit card to be carried or not. But it is better to carry a colour printout of the hall ticket to the exam centre Also, the admit card of GATE must be in A4 size format.
