IIT-Bombay has made available the GATE 2021 application correction window from November 17 to 23 for registered candidates only. Candidates can rectify various details in their GATE 2021 application form. Check details below.
GATE 2021 Application Form Correction: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has opened the GATE 2021 application form correction window for all the registered candidates from November 17 to 23, 2020.

During the aforesaid period, candidates will be allowed to edit their contact address, university/college name, degree nomenclature, name, and date of birth. The correction in address, institute and degree free of cost. However, to edit the name and the date of birth, candidates need to pay correction fee of Rs 500.

Candidates must note that this is a one-time facility, after this, no GATE 20201 application correction facility will be made available by the IIT Bombay. To make the changes in the application form, candidates need to visit GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) and log into it using their enrollment id and password.
Along with that GATE 2021 application fee refund process for “Duplicate Payments” has also been started. The State Bank of India (SBI) refunded application fee against duplicate payment, to around 5,000 candidates. Candidates can click on the kink below to know the name of the candidates.

GATE 2021 is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission of students to postgraduate courses in the field of engineering, technology and architecture. Through this exam, candidates can get admission in prestigious IITs and IISc in the country. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 5-7 and 12-14, 2020.
IIT-Bombay will release the GATE 2021 Admit card on January 8, 2021. The admit card will be issued online only to successfully registered candidates. GATE admit card will not be sent to any candidates through any offline sources.

No, GATE questions are not exactly repeated. However, the concept, core, and question format may remain the same. Therefore, candidates must focus on concept-building and practice GATE PYQs as many times as possible. In addition, solve mock test paper to improve accuracy and time management.

Yes, GATE has negative marking for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only. In GATE question paper, MCQs will be of one and two marks. Hence, the marking scheme for such questions can be checked below -
- For one mark MCQ - 1/3rd mark will be deducted
- For two mark MCQ - 2/3rd mark will be deducted

NHCE Bangalore accepts GATE score for admission to M.Tech programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants can also get into M.Tech course based on their Karnataka PGCET scores. Selected candidates have to confirm their seat by paying the course fees.

The PhD admissions to the Institute Assistantship courses at IIT Guwahati require candidates to appear for the GATE or CEED.
