The GATE does not conduct any centralized counselling for admission. Candidates must note that some IITs take direct admission through GATE while others conduct entrance examination or personal interview depending on the candidates’ qualification. GATE Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) is a common platform where the candidates will have to register for admission into the IITs after applying individually.
