GATE 2021 subject-wise exam schedule has been released by the IIT Bombay for all the aspirants. Read on to check the same.
GATE 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released the detailed schedule for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 on the official website i.e. www.gate.iitb.ac.in. The complete schedule informs students about the exam date and timing of a paper/subject.
For the first time, IIT Bombay has allotted time for miscellaneous activities. These activities will include: (1) Conducting trial (mock) test by zonal GATE IIT/IISc officials (Not for Candidates), (2) Briefing to invigilators, (3) Scribes selection (if any), (4) Preparation of exam centre including sanitisation and other activities (display posters, signboard, seating arrangements, etc.), (5) Optional visit by candidates to check the exam centre, etc.

IIT Bombay has already announced the important dates for GATE 2021 along with the release of the information brochure. GATE 2021 application form was made available by the institute from September 11, 2020, to October 7, 2020.
The institute also made available application correction facility to students aspiring for the GATE 2021. Candidates were allowed to edit contact address, university/college name, degree nomenclature, name, and date of birth free of cost. The correction in address, institute and degree free of cost. However, to edit the name and the date of birth, candidates need to pay correction fee of Rs 500.

No, GATE questions are not exactly repeated. However, the concept, core, and question format may remain the same. Therefore, candidates must focus on concept-building and practice GATE PYQs as many times as possible. In addition, solve mock test paper to improve accuracy and time management.

Yes, GATE has negative marking for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only. In GATE question paper, MCQs will be of one and two marks. Hence, the marking scheme for such questions can be checked below -
