GATE 2026 Subject-Wise Hall Ticket Download Link OUT: IIT Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 admit card for all 30 papers. Students can find link to download hall ticket here. 

IIT Guwahati is conducting GATE exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The MTech engineering exam will be held in two shifts: (forenoon: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and (afternoon: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering will be held for 30 papers, out of which some of the most registered GATE papers include CSE, ME, CE, ECE, and EE. Candidates can download their GATE admit card 2026 as many times as they want till the completion of the admission process. In short, the admit card link will remain activated till the availability of the GATE scorecard. Candidates can visit the GOAPS portal and download using their credentials. 

Q:   If I forget my GATE admit card, can I get a duplicate hall ticket at the center?
A:

No, a duplicate GATE 2026 admit card will not be provided at the test centre. Candidates must carry their admit card along with mentioned documents to the test centre address.

Q:   Do I have to carry a passport size photograph along with GATE exam hall ticket?
A:

No, passport size is not mandatory to carry. Along with GATE hall ticket, students must carry their valid ID proof, pen or pencil and water bottle. Scribe applicants can carry their assistive devices.

How to retrieve GATE login credentials to download admit card?

To recover login credentials (enrollment ID and password), candidates have to do the following -

  • Visit official website and click on “forgot credentials” at GOAPS login
  • Enter registered email ID/enrollment ID and contact number
  • An OTP will sent to the registered mobile number
  • Enter one-time password and submit 
  • Recover details and login to access GATE exam admit card

Documents to be carried to GATE Exam Centre

Candidates appearing for exam must carry the following items and documents to the centre-

  • Admit card (must be printed clearly with no tampering)
  • Valid ID proof (as mentioned in GATE application form)
  • Students can carry their own pen and pencil for rough work 
  • Transparent water bottle
  • Scribe candidates are allowed to carry assistive devices to the exam centre.

In GATE, normalisation process generally makes a gap of 4 to 7 marks (approximately) between actual and normalised scores. However, if difficulty level of paper was high then the marks might increase. On other hand, for easier paper, marks may reduce offering fairness across sessions.

No, there is no subject-wise cutoff mark for GATE exam. The scores along with minimum-qualifying cutoff will be released (category-wise) along with normalised score.
