Q1. Shubham, how did you feel before, during, and after the test?
Shubham: Before the test, I used to feel a little nervous. But since I had already taken many exams, I was used to the environment. While giving actual JEE Main exam, I didn’t feel unusual pressure. During the test, if a question got stuck, I didn’t panic.
After test, I usually took a short break because exams are mentally exhausting. Later, I checked my result to see whether my performance matched my expectations. Then I analyzed the paper and got back to studying.
Q2. What should students do if they get stuck on a difficult question?
Shubham: If a question didn’t click immediately, I would note down its key points on rough paper and skip. This helped me maintain composure and focus on the rest of the paper. If time remained at the end, those notes helped me rethink the question and sometimes solve it.
Q3. How did you begin preparing for JEE Advanced after JEE Main?
Shubham: After JEE Main, I took a two-day break. I spent time playing and relaxing to refresh my mind. Then I resumed preparation for JEE Advanced. I started taking mock tests, analyzing them carefully, identifying mistakes, revising weak areas, and asking teachers whenever I had doubts.
Q4. How are you managing board exams along with JEE Advanced preparation?
Shubham: I try to complete the targets given by my teachers on time. The effort I have put in so far needs to be increased further for Advanced. Mock tests help me judge my preparation level, and for boards I revise from study booklets and notes.

Q5. What advice would you like to give to other aspirants?
Shubham: The most important thing is to learn from your mistakes and keep improving continuously. Maintain your biological clock according to the exam timing so that your mind stays active at that hour. Stay consistent and keep studying seriously until the final day.
Q6. Any motivational message for students?
Shubham: Keep your determination strong. Stay honest in your efforts and focused in your mind. If your dreams are genuine and your hard work is sincere, success will definitely come. Remember the story isn’t over yet. Keep going till the end.

No, your rank does not change your fees. Merit ranks generated via the JEE Main entrance exam are exclusively used to determine branch selection and seat eligibility during allocation. Once admitted, your tuition fee relies entirely on government social category waivers and annual family income slab

YES. Galgotias University accepts JEE Main and CUET scores for B.Tech admissions and gives preference to candidates with these scores in the merit list. Students also need to meet the required Class 12 eligibility criteria for their chosen B.Tech program.
