NTA JEE Main Result 2021 March: Steps to check
The NTA has announced JEE Main result online on the official portal. Candidates have to follow the below steps to check JEE Main result 2021.
- Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Now click on “View JEE Main result 2021” or “View JEE Main 2021 scorecard”
- Login using JEE Main application number and password/Date of birth
- The screen that follows will display the Main 2021 result
- Download JEE Mains March result and have multiple print outs for future reference

The result will comprise the following information:
- Name of the candidate
- Candidate’s application number and roll number
- Names of candidate’s parents
- Candidate’s state of eligibility

Final JEE Main Result 2021
For the first time in 2021, JEE Main is to be conducted in four sessions of which two sessions are already over. The result for each session will be announced within few days after the exam. The result declared after JEE Main 2021 May session will be the final one comprising the following details:
- Total scores obtained in February/March/April/May attempt
- The best out of four JEE Main scores
- All India rank in JEE Main 2021
- Candidate’s category (if reserved category applies)
- JEE Advanced cutoff
Difference between JEE Main Percentage and Percentile Score
Candidates who appeared in JEE Main result must have a clear understanding between percentage and percentile. They must keep in mind that these two are not the same. The JEE Main percentage is the absolute marking while the percentile is calculated through relative marking.
Calculating Percentage: (100 x Marks obtained by candidate) / Total marks
Calculating JEE Main Percentile: (100 x Number of candidates in the session with aggregate marks less than that obtained by the candidate) / Total number of candidates who appeared in that session
JEE Main 2021 Cutoff
Along with the announcement of the final JEE Main 2021 result in May, the NTA will also announce the JEE Main cutoff required to appear for the admission process of National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).
