The State Common Entrance Cell, Maharashtra, released the MHT CET 2020 application form again on its official website: https://mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in/ on May 26. The last date to fill the application form was June 1, 2020. Earlier, the exam conducting authority made available the application form from January 7 to February 29 and from March 1 to March 7 with the late fee of Rs 500.

Colleges under DTE Maharashtra have a quota of 15-20% for candidates belonging to other states. It is mandatory for every candidate to pass HSC/12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board to be eligible to apply for MHT CET 2020. Candidates going appear in the qualifying exam in 2020 can also apply for the entrance test.
Applicants were allowed to register for MHT CET using email Id, password, and mobile number. MHT CET Application form filling was a five-step process. MHT CET application form 2020 - Important details
- Candidates were required to enter their valid email id, mobile number, and password on the first login
- After registration and filling in all the important details, the candidates were required to upload their recent passport size photograph and signature. The uploaded files were required to be in JPEG format and as per the specification provided in the information brochure.
- Candidates were allowed to correct their application form through the Correction Window Facility till May 31
- Candidates were allowed to download the MHT CET 2020 admit Card from the official website from April 5-23 after completion of their application form. Every candidate must note that now the dates to download the admit card have been postponed until further notice.
Steps to Fill MHT CET 2020 Application Form
After the release of the application form, candidates were required to follow the below-mentioned steps to fill it successfully:
Step-1: MHT CET 2020 Registration
Candidates were needed to visit the official website https://mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in/ to register for the entrance test through the tab named "Registration". To register online, candidates must visit the official website and click on it. The MHT CET 2020 Registration page was to be open wherein they had to fill the online form.
Step 2: Filling of Online Application form
The candidates were required to provide personal details like:

- Father’s/Guardian’s name
- Mother’s First name
- Gender as applicable
- Date of Birth
- Contact Information: Enter valid postal address, email id, personal mobile number, and nationality along with other required information while filling the form online. After registration, candidates received an email and SMS on their registered email id and mobile no. Candidates were required to quote their application number in case of all future correspondence with the MHT CET Office.
- Reservation: Candidates opting reservations had to choose a category from the given options, i.e. General, SC/ST, NC-OBC. Candidates belonging to reserved category had to enter additional details such as Caste/Tribe name, State/Union Territory, etc. These details could be obtained from the National Commission for Backward Classes website.
- Other Details: In this field, people with disabilities were required to choose “Yes” in the PWD field. All candidates had to enter the asked information (Aadhar number, name of the bank, type of account, IFSC code, etc.) while filling the form online.
- Education Details: This section required candidates to fill in their educational details from class 12th to most recent academic qualifications. Following details were required to be entered:

- HSC/12th class examination/Diploma (Compulsory for all candidates)
- Bachelor Degree Details (Compulsory for all candidates)
- Other Professional Degree
- Post-graduation Degree Details
- In the next field select the subject(s) you wish to appear in MHT CET 2020 viz. Mathematics/Biology and also the medium of the question paper in any of the English, Marathi, and Urdu.
- Declaration by the Candidate: The applicants have to click on "I Agree" after carefully going through the points mentioned. The security key has to be entered diligently after which the applicants can click "Next" to proceed further.
Note: Candidates were required to check all the data filled in the Online Application Form before submitting it. No changes in Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth, Mobile No., and Email ID were permitted once confirmed and submitted.
Step 3: Upload Images
To upload the Photograph/Signature, candidates were needed to click on the “Upload Photo & Signature” tab and then upload the same as per specifications given in the MHT CET 2020 information brochure. Candidates could also check the information below
- The size of the photograph should be between 15 KB to 50 KB, in JPG Format.
- The size of the signature file should be between 5 KB to 20 KB.
Note: Make sure that the scanned signature and photographs had a white background.
Step 4: Application Fee Payment
The MHT CET 2020 Application Fee could be paid online. Candidates could pay the requisite fee using Net-banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Mobile wallets

Step 5: Confirmation Page
On successful payment of the MHT CET Application fee, a confirmation of the same was also displayed on the screen. After successful payment, the candidate should take the print out of MHT CET 2020 confirmation page for future reference.
MHT CET 2020 application form correction
Candidates also had a chance to edit or update their details in the filled-in MHT CET 2020 application form. This facility for changing the distinct in the application form was available from June 5 to 10 and facility of entering the HSC board marks was available from June 5 to 7, 2020. After editing or updating the details, candidates were required to submit their form and print the same. Edited details must be checked carefully by candidates as it will be the last chance to rectify any discrepancies in the application form.
