The best strategy, for now, is to focus on General Aptitude and Engineering Mathematics. General Aptitude carries 15 marks and nearly the same marks are also carried by Engineering Mathematics.

It is definitely possible to crack GATE in one month but it depends on various factors. If your aim is to clear GATE by scoring the minimum qualifying marks, then yes, there is a higher possibility of achieving this goal. And, if you want to secure a high score, it means you have to prepare in a smarter way and make the best use of the remaining time. Read further and know how to crack GATE in one month.

GATE 2020 Last-Minute Tips & Tricks

Time is a crucial factor and you must make the best use of the available time. You may feel anxious comparing the vast GATE syllabus and the time in hand but do not fret as you now have your own strategy which will be backed up with your planned efforts. Stay focused and put your heart and soul into your GATE preparation.

Solve a sufficient number of practice questions for every topic you finish. And as you practice, try to increase your problem-solving speed.

While taking GATE 2020 mock tests, attempt the questions according to your prioritisation. You need to prioritise the questions based on the syllabus you have covered, whether you are confident regarding the question, the difficulty level, etc.

GATE 2020 Self-Evaluation

You need to be confident about what you have learned and the syllabus that you have covered. Do not think of the result and focus only on solving questions in minimum time with 100% accuracy.

Solving previous years’ GATE question papers and taking GATE mock tests is something that will help you a lot. Dedicate the last few days only for revision and do not try to learn any new concept.

Patience and consistent work will help you. Do not try to learn too many random topics just for the sake of learning. Instead, learn according to a planned strategy and gain in-depth knowledge of whatever you study.

The barcode present in the GATE admit card 2026 carries the candidate's information. It is required for a faster verification process and fraud prevention. So, make sure it does not get tampered. Carry multiple copies in case your GATE 2026 hall ticket is torn or tampered.
