Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu (DoTE) will start the counselling of TNEA 2020 for special categories from October 1-5. TNEA counselling for General category will begin from October 8-27. Students who have secured more than or equal to the TNEA cutoff will have to attend the counselling. The round-wise schedule is yet to be announced by the authority.
The TNEA choice-filling schedule will also be released along with the round-wise schedule. The counselling of TNEA 2020 for Vocational will also start from October 8-15. Check TNEA counselling schedule here!

The authority had released the TNEA rank list on September 28. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the rank list will be eligible for TNEA counselling.
While filling the choices, the candidates will have to select as per their preference since it will be taken into consideration during TNEA seat allotment. The list of candidates will be prepared solely based on the merit list prepared by the authority, choices filled and category of the candidate.
