CLAT Toppers 2023 - Names, Ranks, Percentile, Interviews

The results for the CLAT 2023 exam have been declared TODAY for both the UG and PG programs. CLAT 2023 UG is topped by Abhinav Somani, who secured 116.75 marks.

The Consortium of NLUs declared the results for CLAT 2023 on December 23, 2022. 

In the UG program, Abhinav Somain (AIR 1) topped the exam by securing 116.75 marks (out of a possible 149 marks). Note that 1 question was dropped in the final answer key, bringing the total number of questions and marks to 149. For Abhinav Somain it is a twin success, as he also topped the AILET 2023 exam. In the recently declared AILET 2023 results, he secured AIR 1 securing 92 marks.

The second position was Sahil Gupta with 112 marks; Shubham Thakare came in third. In AILET 2023 exam, Shubham came in 2nd scoring 91.25 marks.

The CLAT 2023 exam was conducted in pen-and-paper mode on December 18, 20222. The final answer key for CLAT 2023 was released on December 22, 2022. Candidates are allowed to file grievances against the final key and CLAT 2023 exam from December 26 (9 am) to December 29 (9 am), 2022.

Q:   What is the cutoff for CLAT 2024?

CLAT 2024 exam was held on December 3, 2023. The Consortium announced the CLAT 2024 Result on December 10.  The CNLU released the CLAT 2024 first allotment list on December 26. The cut off of admission to the top 3 NLUs was between 100 and 105. If you want to enroll in one of the top 5 NLUs, then CLAT Cut off 2024 has to be between 95 and 100.

Q:   Are there any sectional cutoffs in the CLAT exam?

No, there is no specific sectional cutoff in CLAT Exam. However, the marks obtained by the candidate in each section are important in determining their overall performance. These marks are important as it is utilized to prepare the merit list, that determines the eligibility of candidates for admission to various law programmes. The CLAT merit list is prepared on the basis of the overall marks that is obtained by the candidates and the sectional scores play a significant role in the calculation.

No. Since IIULER has officially joined the Consortium of NLUs, it no longer conducts a separate entrance test for admission to IIULER BA LLB (Hons.) course. Admission is strictly based on the CLAT (UG) merit list. If you miss the CLAT window, you generally cannot apply for that academic year.
