The Consortium of NLUs conducts the CLAT Exam from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam is held only in one slot. There are no shifts in CLAT Exam. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode.

There is no option to make changes in the CLAT admit card. Details printed on the candidate's hall ticket will be final and non-editable. Though CLAT Preparation takes months of practice, it is still not impossible. You can prepare for the CLAT Exam in one week with a correct and dedicated focus. But you should have at least some understanding of concepts to clear the exam.

Can I fill CLAT Application Form through mobile phone?

See, it doesn't matter that you fill the form through laptop or phone. What matters is you fill the form. Yes, you should have good network connection and internet speed. It should not happen that you have filled the form and when you reach the last step you loose the connection. So what is important is network connection not the phone or laptop to fill the application form.

How many questions are there in CLAT Exam?

In CLAT Exam there will be 120 questions. The exam paper will be in MCQ format. Candidates will get 120 minutes to complete the paper. Since there is a negative marking candidates must attempt carefully.

You don't have to worry. In case you have forgotten your ID and password, which is pretty much normal. You can go and click on the forgot password tab in the registration window. You will receive the mail and then you have to reset your password. Once day you will be able to login.

The CLAT examination will be held on December 6, 2026 (tentatively). CLAT 2027 registrations is likely to open in August 2026. The Consortium of NLUs is expected to publish the CLAT 2027 Notification shortly. It will carry all details, such as the important dates, application process, syllabus, pattern, etc. Candidates will be able to fill out the CLAT 2027 Application Form on consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

CLAT 2027 Eligibility & Application Process 2027

Students must understand the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form for the CLAT Exam.

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 (Class 12) examination
Students appearing in their final 12th board exams can also apply
Candidates must hold an LLB degree from a recognised university to apply for LLM courses

It must be noted that the CLAT Eligibility Criteria are different for both CLAT UG and CLAT PG.

Candidates must note that the application form will not be considered submitted until the CLAT Application Fees for 2027 have been paid. The application fee for each category is as follows

Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent to your phone and set password
Re-login, select the program of study, 5-year LLB or one-year LLB
Start by entering personal information, communication details, qualifying examination status, exam centre preferences and reservation.
Once the details are duly filled, agree to the declaration, give consent and submit the form.
