Even though MBA CET is an easy to moderate exam, it can pose challenges if you have not planned it well. To crack MAH MBA CET 2025 with high scores, you need to have an exam day strategy in mind. And that exam strategy should be ready last day before the MAH MBA CET 2025 exam date - April 1, 2 and 3, 2025.

Q:   What is MAH CET score normalization process?
A:

MAH CET score normalization process is undertaken to ensure that all candidates are judged on the same plane. This is done because MAH MBA CET is a multi-session exam and it may be possible that one session can be slighter easier or tougher than another. 

MAH CET score normalization ensures that no candidate has an advantage or disadvantage over another due to differences in difficulty level of their exam session. So, before the preparation of the MBA CET result and merit list, the Maharashtra CET normalizes the exam scores. Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all candidates who appear for MAH CET. Basically, the marks obtained by every candidate are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session.

Q:   How will I know about my MAH CET MBA test center?
A:

The address of MAH MBA CET test centre will be mentioned on the admit card. The candidates will get to know of their test centre only after downloading the MAH CET admit card. Once they know the address, they should check the distance and time taken from their home to the centre. This is important as candidates have to reach their MAH CET test centre as per the reporting time mentioned in their admit card. For both shifts of MAH CET, the reporting time in 1 hour before the commencement of the exam.

Candidates must note that there is no provision to change the test centre after the admit card has been released. They should visit the MAH CET test centre a day before the exam to check traveling options, etc.

Q:   Where is MAH CET held for MBA/MMS course?
A:

MAH MBA CET exam is held in about 48 cities. In every city, there is at least one exam centre. Since MAH CET is a state-level exam, the number of test cities is more within Maharashtra than in rest of India. The exam is held in 36 cities of Maharashtra and 12 cities in rest of the country. Outside Maharashtra, the test centres for the exam are allotted mainly in capital cities of certain states. Check below the names of test cities where the exam is held.

MAH MBA CET is a speed based test in which candidate have to read and solve about 200 question in 150 minutes. The questions will be from English grammar, reading comprehension, analytical reasoning, logical reasoning and quantitative ability. Don’t Fret Over Topics Not Covered

In case any or a few topics have been left behind, don’t worry about it. You can leave questions from topics you haven’t covered as it is not mandatory and possible to solve all the 200 questions in 150 minutes. You will have to leave out some questions anyway.

Q:   What are the dos and don'ts for MAH MBA CET exam day?
A:

Candidates appearing for the MAH CET MBA exam have to follow a few guidelines during the exam. Right from entry into the venue to the exit, candidates have to follow instructions given be the exam centre staff. Those who will not follow the guidelines will be barred from appearing in the exam. Here are a few dos and don’ts that you must follow on the MAH CET exam day.

MAH CET Dos

  • Reach the examination centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the admit card
  • Carry two copies of the MAH MBA CET admit card and a valid photo ID proof
  • Cooperate with the exam centre staff
  • Try to solve about 70-75 questions in 2 hours 20 minutes
  • Use the remaining time for attempting a few more questions and reviewing your answers

MAH CET Don’ts

  • Do not be late for the exam. Once the gates close, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam venue.
  • Do not carry any stationary item other than a blue/black ball point pen
  • Do not carry electronic items like mobile phone, wrist watch, calculator, etc.
  • Do not carry metal items or wear clothes and accessories that have metal in them.
  • Do not argue with test centre staff, or create a ruckus at the test centre.
  • Do not cheat or indulge in any sort of malpractice. You may be barred from the exam.

Q:   How early should I reach the MAH MBA CET test centre?
A:

Reporting time for candidates will be mentioned on the MAH MBA CET admit card. Candidates are supposed to reach their test centres by the reporting time. Even if they are getting late, they should reach their MAH CET test centres at least half an hour before the exam commencement time.

Make a MAH MBA CET 2025 Exam Day Strategy

Making an exam day strategy is extremely helpful in optimizing performance. MAH CET MBA does not have sectional time limit. So it may happen that a candidate will end up spending more than required time on one question. This may lead to loss of time for easier questions which may appear further in the test. To avoid this situation, decide upon a time limit for each question. If a question is taking more time than that, leave it and move on to the next question.

Keep a target score and percentile in mind and try achieve that first. You can improvise on that further.

Arrange MAH MBA CET admit card print out and a photo ID

Download the MAH MBA CET admit card 2025 and take two colour printouts of it. Affix your passport size photo on them (preferably the same as uploaded in the MBA CET 2025 application form.

Acceptable photo IDs include:

  1. Aadhaar card
  2. PAN card
  3. Passport
  4. Driving License
  5. Voter ID
  6. College/university ID card

Check MAH MBA CET 2025 Test Centre Location

To appear for the MAH MBA CET 2025 exam, candidates will have to visit a designated test centre. Every candidate will be given a particular exam centre and exam slot for the same. Candidates will have to reach the test centre at least 2 hours before the exam timings. So in order to reach on time on the exam day, candidates must check the test centre location before the exam day. Make arrangements according to exam day and slot allotted to you. 

 

Check the List of Items to Carry on Exam Day

The list of items that a candidate needs to carry on the exam day will be mentioned in the MAH MBA CET 2025 admit card. Candidates must check that list before the exam day and arrange thee items.

Candidates must carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet and rough work. Read those instructions beforehand so as to not face any difficulty during entry.  

Relax and Sleep Well

On the day before the MAH MBA CET 2025, relax and indulge in a recreational activity. Don’t take any stress of the exam. Sleep early and wake up with a fresh mind on the exam day.
