MAH MBA CET 2026 – Maharashtra State CET Cell conduct a common entrance exam for MBA/MMS courses in state affiliated colleges and institution. MBA CET is conducted annually, in March-April and about 70,000 plus aspirants appear for it. MAH MBA CET 2026 exam will be held on April 6, 7 and 8, 2026. For the 2026 session, a second MAH CET will be conducted on May 9, 2026. Candidates can choose to make one or both attempts.
Maharashtra State CET Cell made the 2026-2027 portal live on January 5. Application window will open on January 10, 2026. Registrations will go on until February 12, 2026. Candidates can apply for one or both attempts in the same form. Fee will have to be paid per attempt.
Candidates who are Maharashtra domicile, are eligible to appear for the exam in MH category. Candidates from rest of India can appear for the exam in All India category. MAH CET Eligibility Criteria for MBA/MMS
MBA CET is a post graduate level exam, thus the minimum academic criteria is graduation. Check below detailed MAH CET eligibility criteria 2026:
- Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized university.
- Minimum marks required in graduation is 50 per cent in aggregate (45 per cent in case of reserved category candidates).
- Final year students awaiting their result are also eligible to appear in CET
- Candidates having CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA score can apply for MAH MBA CET counselling or MBA CAP.

MAH MBA CET Registration Process 2026
The process to apply for MAH MBA CET 2026 is online. Application form is available through login. Given below is the process of MAH CET registration and application form submission.
- Open the Maharashtra State CET Cell website: https://cetcell.mahacet.org/
- Click on CET examination portal AY 2026-2027
- Click on ‘Register’ tab
- Enter personal details and a password
- Click on save and proceed
- Verify through Aadhaar and APAAR IDs
- Log in with application number generated and password
- Enter personal details, domicile and category
- Upload required documents for domicile/category
- Upload passport size photo and scanned signature
- Enter test city preference
- Pay application fee of INR 1,200 (INR 1,000 for Reserved category)

MAH MBA CET Counselling 2026

Yes, you can apply for MAH MBA CET. However, you're aggregate of first and second year of bachelor's degree course should meet the minimum criteria (50 percent for Unreserved category and 45 percent for reserved category). You will also have to submit the final year passing certificate or marksheet to the university in which you finally take admission by October. Until then, your admission will be provisional.
In the MAH CET CAP, there are three categories in which the seat allotment is done: 1. Maharashtra State Candidature, 2. All India Candidature/Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidate and 3. NRI/OCI/PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries. Given below are the category wise MAH CET CAP eligibility criteria. Maharashtra State Candidature: The candidate should be an Indian National and must have passed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate from a recognised university (at least 45 per cent in case of candidates belonging to backward class categories and PwD belonging to Maharashtra State only). The candidate must have obtained more than zero score in MAH CET exam. All India Candidature/Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidate: The candidate should be an Indian National and must have passed 3-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate from a recognised university. They must have also scored more than zero score in MAH CET/XAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT/CAT/CMAT. NRI/OCI/PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries: The candidate should have passed minimum three-year duration Bachelor's Degree with 50 per cent marks or equivalent, awarded by the University recognized by the UGC or AIU. Any other criterion declared from time to time by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra as defined under the ACT.
MAH CET exam for MBA/MMS admission is a state level entrance test for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State. Since, the exam is conducted by the state government body its score is accepted by colleges and institutions affiliated to state universities only. Thus, one cannot apply for admission with MAH CET score outside Maharashtra.
If you did not appear for MAH MBA CET, you can participate in the CAP round for admission to an MBA college in Maharashtra with CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT score under All India category. Such candidates should have scored more than 0 marks in any of these national level MBA entrance exam.
